I know this isn't related to your video but I have something to ask you: Is buying a relatively cheap wig only a good starting item for a cosplay? I'm thinking of buying a Denki Kaminari wig for somewhat cheap. I think it's a good idea to start with that and see if I like cosplaying. If I don't really enjoy it, I will no, and it wouldn't cost me a lot of money for something I don't like.

I've been cosplaying almost 5 years, although I didn't use wigs for my first couple cosplays, however, I do have some suggestions. First of all, Role Cosplay/Wig Supplier (both the same brand of wig) are very affordable but also good. One of my favourite brands for sure, and if you have a friend or two who cosplay, you can save on shipping by ordering a few wigs together. If you want the absolute cheapest route, here's a few warnings: cheap wigs are very small so if you have a large head, you'll need to splice 2, they are also very hard to style since they don't have as much hair and tend to be slippery. My first wig I ordered was $12 and was enough to enter in a cosplay contest, but for just a few dollars more, I got a better one from Wig Supplier. There's no need to splurge on an expensive $40 wig, but I would say anything in the $20 range will probably last a long longer if you do want to cosplay with the wig in the future.

I love their wigs! I have one of the Hatsune Miku wigs, and it tangles less than most other wigs I've seen, except maybe Arda Silky, but an Arda Miku wig would be insanely expensive! I get a lot of long or character special wigs from Role Cosplay's sister site wig-supplier.com. I highly recommend! I've even got some of the wigs on ebay with free shipping, but I've also seen other ebay brands steal their pics.
