As a gay black man I feel Lil Boozie is right in the sense some entertainment is not all good and some entertainment should be viewed for a certain adult demographic not children. Rather we know this or not children see imagery and are influenced and we cannot get away from that however I disagree with some of his past sentiments and they do have homophobic undertones and let's not act like the black community especially in the church we don't see that. However two wrongs don't make a right he needs to check the problematic issues he has showcased disrespecting women in his own community in his videos reducing them to sexual objects like most Black rappers do. Black men who are homophobic love to call out gay black men for quote "shoving their lifestyles but what do rappers do" ? They talk all day about sex, drugs, violence, killing each other and majority are colorist so two wrongs don't make a right. I agree I think Lil Nas X goes too far but so does Boosie and Da Baby and all these other rappers the only difference is it's only okay with heterosexuality not homosexuality and to me personally neither should have a pass especially not as black people we are already at a disadvantage systemically we should be doing our best to right some of these wrongs we have subconscious and unconsciously inherited. I do think it may have been a set up which is unfortunate. I say that because I feel they had Flame Monroe there at the same time purposely. I think it would have been more respectful to ask him if he wanted to have a sit down since they asked him to be there. If that was the case then they should really reevaluate some things about the type of show they have. Now here’s where I might get the side eye 😬because I don’t think it was bad that it happened & was smart because Flame has been on the show multiple times and has done a superb job at educating without force , shame or disrespect. She was absolutely her self and the people in that room have genuine love for her. It shows because they have a ball when she’s there, they never tried to roast her or be shady. Not that she would let them but because they couldn’t. The authenticity she displays is naturally received because she’s not fake, she’s honest & she’s funny. She tells you exactly who she is so you don’t need to try to figure anything out & she loves her family & talks about her kids. Boosie was great on the show too. I think they should have met each other & I think everyone received great insight from Boosie & Flame. I think Boosie is right to stand up for his beliefs. He gets respect from me for still listening taking things in & even considering some of the things thrown his way. I think he knew he came for the lgbt conversations so the questions weren’t a set up. He was too relaxed he wouldn’t have been so chill if the questions weren’t already expected. No one was hostile, no one said anything that shouldn’t have been received from then opposing view. I genuinely believe everyone left there with things to think about reconsidering & things to hold true to their beliefs. Overall great interview in my opinion. Listen to the entire BC interview with Boosie (including Flame Monroe's interaction, in the same interview with Boosie on the subject). What Boosie said was, if Lil Nas x came on stage NAKED in front of him or his children he would pull him off the stage because he feels that Lil Nas X would be disrespecting him and his children. Before you speak view the entire interview. The BC hosts (Charlemagne, Envy and Angela) tried their best to hem Boosie up, but Boosie stayed true to his convictions and did not waver. Key word HIS convictions. If you don't stand for something you will fall for anything. Right or wrong I give Boosie credit for not wavering from his beliefs that he has a right to protect HIS children from what he feels may be harmful to them. As a parent that's HIS right.

I think you should really take the time to watch the Boosie interview because Boosie is not preoccupied with the gay community The Breakfast Club spent the entire time asking him questions about this when that man came on there to talk about his new movie, his music, his legendary status in this hip-hop game excetera excetera. And if you listen at why he said he will drag him off the stage it wasn't because he was gay it was for saying he wanted to be naked dancing on national TV. He also stated he would have done that if the person was straight because what happened to protecting the children. Lastly he pointed out he wishes lil-nas-x no harm whatsoever. He was speaking in the scenario of if he was present in the audience and a grown man proceeded to take off his clothes and dance naked in front of him on stage. It's less about his sexual status and more about the over the sexualisation. And that goes for gay and straight people is too much of it. At some point it needs to just be about the art and not about your sexuality. Meg getting comfortable too in the live performances. Just my opinion.

Another great show! Claudia thank you for sharing your struggle with depression. You have no idea what that did for my spirit. I have struggled with it myself and I’m working hard on self care. Well said; however, one drawback; @Al Reynolds; he didn’t address his viewing audience!!! Al Reynolds should have also apologized to the viewership; there were also plenty of us, who also were offended by Al’s MISOGYNISTIC, HIGHLY OFFENSIVE BEHAVIOR TOWARD CLAUDIA, and the way he looked while doing so, was like a man, suddenly POSSESSED BY EVIL!!! I feel, some type of way, about how Claudia just simply brushed off Al’s VERY HOSTILE VERBAL ATTACK AGAINST HER...It makes me think, I should also side-eye Claudia, like maybe, she is used to men coming at her, like Al Reynolds did; if so, Claudia needs to get accepting that NASTY BEHAVIOR, UNDER CONTROL...Al had that look in his eyes and on his on his face, like if he were in reaching distance, he would have popped Claudia’s neck!!! Did the 3 of them, watch Al’s INSANITY on playback, the optics was just horrendous!!!
