Charleston White was right when he said rappers are dumb. How the hell can anybody think they can commit a crime, rap about the events on record and think that they are protected by freedom of speech/expression. This generation is doomed.
@businessbuilder92
@businessbuilder92 2 жыл бұрын
Well it's been done in entertainment, in books, in plays with varying degrees of success. the kkk have free speech they have committed many many crimes but they are still able to express themselves. speaking of the kkk expressing themselves charlseton white is a *self proclaimed* agent of chaos anything he said might be true it might not but its definitely 100% propaganda for his narrative. forsure if it doesn't support his narrative you will never hear him admit to it end of story

You no longer have anything to prove at this point, you're just protecting yourself now by putting that on your album! I can do nothing but respect it, and if no one else respect it that's on them!! Y'all hater can tlk ya ass off, that's a smart ass move for you to start putting that on your albums. "this is for entertainment purposes only, and nothing I say on this album is true"!! KMSL 🤞🏾😂😂😭 That's genius and the smartest thing you can do, and I think these other rappers should do that as well. But thank God 🙏🏾🙏🏾 they passed that law, so they can no longer use rap lyrics against them in court!! That's what's up!! Straight Up!!

Street rappers can rap about plenty. How hard it is to grow up poor in America. How hard it is to live around gang members. And like back in the days, they can make social commentaries about America. Why only rap about doing crime and drugs? That's why i don't listen to rap anymore, it's so different than the music i grew up with. Hip hop just like rock n roll is supposed to be the music of the rebels, not the junkies and killers!

Rap the truth. OTHER than real crimes. The crime and the hustling is only like 10% of the reality. Pac rapped about the mothers, the kids growing up in it, the people trying to get their life together, teenage pregnancy, suicidal thoughts, the funerals, the police, the politicians, relationships, temptation, history, etc etc etc etc… People just don’t have an imagination anymore, because Rap is just another Hustle to them. Papoose had a whole song series called Law Library. Nas told stories forward and backwards, he told a story as if he was the gun talking. JayZ rapped about the Psychology of it all. What goes on in these people’s minds and why they do what they do. There’s so much you can rap about the streets, other than real crimes and dissing the dead bruh.

That's why I feel Boosie when he said he don't play that shyt when it comes to his sons, and nephews throwing up signs!! Cuz they're watching, and they'll say you are gang affiliated!! 💯 I don't blame Boosie, teach your sons to do better than you did when you were young, when you didn't know any better!!

I see it like this .. Kyle Rittenhouse had a conversation that he would kill rioters if he had his gun .. the judge said words spoken don’t necessarily mean anything and didn’t allow the conversation to be heard and was not admissible in court .. why are entertainment lyrics used? If I was an atty I’d definitely look into that ruling and show the precedent has been set

Boosie is a studio gangster who built his rap career off lies! It's the youngsters who really believed his B.S. was true, that now commit the crimes then talk about them on their songs. They are the ones "keeping it too real." Boosie just continue to profit off rapping about other people's crimes. He ain't no damn real thugged out career criminal.......but he plays one on T.V.! Facts! (.....and if I'm hating, then that means he got you fooled too!)

Can't the street rapper also rap about being a millionaire now instead of what he was doing when he was 16-19 yrs old majority the time! Strange they only want to rap majorly of the bad situations when they full grown and can make their own free will decisions! Rapping about hard times on the 1st album, cool! Anything after that needs to majority be good times especially if you're successful!

Rap is a double edged sword. It can be used against us when we promote negativity but it also can be used against the 'powers that be' by uplifting our people. Our people need music that inspires us beyond this basic street sh*t and provokes thought. Either these artists are dumb or we're dumb if we can't raise the bar in rap and vibe to a higher standard and quality of music. Look how far from the roots of rap we've strayed from. Being the voice of the street doesn't mean glamorizing the struggle for money, it means being the voice of truth for love of your people and the art. Music is power. And if you're going to promote the same watered down message of self destruction by which you participate that influences our youth....then they need to lock y'all stupid asses up. The goal is either getting out the streets or changing it for the better.✌🏿🤍

Keeping it real in rap doesn't mean admitting to actual crimes. Now I don't know about the California law pertaining to rap lyrics but the one in New York still allows them to use them when it can be proven that it ties the person or persons to a crime. Any fool that still running around murdering people and actively banging while having millions of dollars belongs in jail. And this is coming from someone who was prison. Because the same people Boosie is trying to save would put a cap in him.
