in alotta cases because you as a parent still talk about it. Nothing better than the story of an underdog. Children hear the stories, they wanna be like their parents. Even if you talking about how hard you had it growing up, it's subconsciously telling that child he needs to get it out the mud. Though you don't want that lifestyle for him, he'll still prolly chase it. Not including all the music he's listening to & the clubs he goes to. Alotta factors contribute to the demise of a suburban black child.

His father a gangster and the kid lives in the shadow of his dad's success. This generation of kids so badly want a respect that was earned by their elders. Problem is that they post/document everything and make sending them up the river a lot easier. Not to mention, this young man is a target in Baton-rouge

I was on a dark path from doing drugs to robbing and stealing and one day out of nowhere I heard the words"stop while you're ahead" it didn't seem like a suggestion, it was a commandment. I stopped. Immediately. I've listened to God and what he told me to do and he blessed me with longer life with freedom.
