If he was saying Atlanta was the South as in just South you could try and argue that but there's really no just South. There's Southeast, Southcentral and Southwest. Georgia is the South they're just on the Eastern Coast, Texas is the South but it's in the center of the South, Arizona is the South and it's the Southwest. Time zones, coasts and regions seem to play a big role in influence/vibe/connection. Georgia seems to have more of an East Coast influence. Can't nobody take Atlanta out the South, as much as they did for black people, that history, you'd be crazy to consider it.

He didn’t dissed Atlanta. If you read between the lines, he was dissing people from Atlanta “rappers” that claim they came from a drug selling lifestyle, BUT NEVER lived that lifestyle AT ALL. Also, he mentioned that he lived in Atlanta for yearsss and that he’s actually cool with people from Atlanta such as OutKast, Goodie Mob, Jazzy Phae and Lil Jon etc.. also the two rappers that kissed each other and some of you were either too young to remember or weren’t even born yet was Wayne and Birdman and they are not from Atlanta. He also spoke about how “rappers” from Atlanta was on the BMF bandwagon, but as soon as everybody got indicted, they disappeared. He felt like if you were with BMF during the times they were up and throwing money in the strip clubs, then you should still be BMF during the down times. He stated more than once he didn’t diss anybody, he just wanted people to know that the industry in its entirety is fake. Most of you were again fairly young or wasn’t even born when Pimp c was incarnated so when he got out, he was basically disgusted at how the rap industry had turned out at the time. If you actually listened and paid attention to what he said, this man basically compared the old Atlanta to the New Atlanta. He was ahead of his time. He saw it before we did. ♥️✌🏾

Atlanta aint the South. We Deep South people get what Pimp C was saying. Atlanta aint the South anymore. We say it all the time where I'm from. Memphis, Birmingham, New Orleans, Jackson MS, Houston hell evening up North Louisville. I'm a truck driver that has been all over the South and when you touchdown in those cities you instantly know by the vibe and swag its the South. Atlanta is all over the place now and shows zero southern style. Maybe it's because of all the Northerns people moving there over last few decades and destroyed the city culture.

Damn I can kinda see that.

Nonsense. Pimp C said Atlanta wasn't the south because it had a eastern time zone. Listen again..😅 He was just upset, and had a history of saying whatever was on his mind, whether it was wrong or right. That's what got him in trouble with Master P. He couldn't control his emotions at times. The fact that you tried to justify it is sad. ATL is definitely the south. 3000 said it best, when he said the south had something to say. RIP Pimp, but you sound foolish trying to make any sense of it. He was venting. Leave it at that, keep your bias and stop putting words in the mouth of the dead

Pimp C said, well act like it then, he was saying ya'll had more of an East Coast feel. All the northerners comin down there givin ya'll a different vibe.
