*Not sure if track rules allow it but consider this tail mod. Two 3-4" diameter intakes at the airdam running high pressure air inside the car and exiting 6-8" off the outboard corners of the tail, but... both are steerable, so you can dial in angle of exhaust towards centerline so real effect is your high pressure air essentially extends laminar flow of the tail.*

You could be missing out on a lot by not reducing your cross sectional area. Cd is just part of the picture. If you halve the Cross section you halve the drag force (IF the Cd remains similar). Lose the windshield, recline the seat, drop the sheetmetal to about shoulder height. Will probably be fine keeping the cage as is for testing. On a Tesla you could probably go even more aggressive as the battery is flat and you don't have a tall engine limiting your body profile.

This is really an interesting task to make it faster and faster by making it as light as possible but you haven’t really tried one thing. Weight distribution! Try ADDING weight ON THE REAR. You might maxed out or nearly maxed out by doing all the weight reduction. Try adding weight on the back end to improve traction where most of the power and torque is needed. Have you ever used axle weight pads to get an idea of how your weight is distributed? I think you might have removed a lot of weight on the rear end and shifting weight to the back end or adding weight on the back end first might actually help you here. Would love to see you guys experimenting with weight distribution and / or more weight on the back!!! Keep on rolling guys, you are doing fantastic!!!

They need to unlock the speed control first if they want to push for top speed runs. I hope they do it, the Plaid does 216 mph+ unlocked stock and with there weight mods it could go even faster.
