In this video, I’m going to teach you 50 conversational Russian phrases that you can use in your everyday life. These are very short phrases in Russian that we use all the time in daily conversations. So if you´re planning to visit Russia soon or you have Russian friends that you talk to in Russian, you definitely need to know these common casual phrases that will help you keep a conversation in Russian.
I´ll repeat each phrase two times. First, in slow Russian so that you can hear every sound clearly, then in regular speed Russian. Also you’ll see the English translation on the screen.

At 6:28 are you sure "ни то, ни сё" translates into neither here nor there? Sorry I'm a beginner but direct translation is "neither this, nor that" seems like this would be "ни здесь, ни там" you are the expert I'm just confused haha.

Hey! I Googled this phrase in English and it looks like the most accurate translation would be "neither fish nor flesh / fowl". Does it make sense?

"ни то, ни сё" - neither this, nor that. To be more precise "neither that, nor this". "ни здесь, ни там" - neither here, nor there.
