I personally don't mind if a TD like an AT-15 camps because they are dead if caught in the open. What I don't like are sniping heavies, who continue to sit far off as I'm fighting and dying in the trenches.

Agreed. They used to share CC's videos in the newsfeed. Get that there are language barriers, but videos like this can only help people improve at the game. Too many aren't even aware that there is content out there that can help them get better.

Great advice, as always, Bushka. I've been soaking up your teachings since my early days a number of years ago. Where I find I struggle these days is the YOLO meta, specifically on the NA server. Playing a tactical/positional game fails a lot when I see someone in a 4005 frontline and die 20 seconds into the match, and it's very difficult to counteract that momentum loss.

Bushka taught me so much getting started. Sidescraping was one example. You had a bunch of tutorials years ago. But, tanks have changed, the meta has changed... time for updated tutorials. Do what you did! At one point, I swear to Bob that you improved the player base. And your absence directly led to its degradation. I'm cheering for you, mate.

This is why you should play on the NA server. Super heavies sniping from spawn, trying to hide behind a single upright tree. They’re not even smart enough to drop the tree for more cover.

Another useful vid. I forget about some of these tips all the time so it's great to get a refresher every now and again. So much of this has fallen by the wayside. Barely see anyone now making track shots or even passively spotting without shooting and blowing their cover. So many nuggets here for multiple tanks and their types. Sometimes I genuinely wonder if KZbin's effectiveness has peaked, as it seems that the people that need videos like this aren't even aware of the content that's available out there. Would love if WarGaming actually tried to address this gap and actively linked videos like this to their game. Mad to think that they would be interested in improving the player base to future proof their game.

Sadly the vast majority of those who most need to watch this video, and any more like it that you make, are the sorts of players who don't care enough to want to improve. I for one hope you do continue to make these videos as they are very useful reminders for players like me who have been playing a while and constantly want to get better at it.

Tried to join Surly. Got tumbleweeds My stats don’t reflect the player of today. But still in the 50-60% WR at 16k battles. Anyway another team jumped on board when they saw me without a clan and got the call up. Staying at 31 people in your clan when you have chances to fill up I don’t understand. We can’t all be 65% plus

Tier 1 to 3 is boot camp, the trouble is, all new players want to get to tier 10 ASAP, they in turn ruin their chance of understanding this game, ruining their stats also their teammates!! I had a teammate playing a tier 10 in ratings with only 181 games to its name....0 damage

Doesn’t matter what you show or teach them. It’s a rotating pool of morons that just play for the sounds and graphics. Gave up 8 months ago and haven’t looked back to play. The only way to get the original base back is to have a skilled player base group of either 60% or 55% better. The ratings use to be like that, but it’s tainted now with trash. I missed the original 4-5 minute long games like a chess match move base players. Now it’s one sided 70 second long games. You have either spawn team clowns all on one side or the team of 5-6 clippers vs no clipper team. I enjoy the commentary and laughs of these videos. But the game is dead as for fun and skill. Look at the comp scene. Myself and the group I played with, were good for buying battle passes and all collector tanks. Now, it’s an abandoned account. Will never come back unless a skill base requirement category. I would even pay a monthly fee to be in a 60% higher group.

The problem with these tutorials is not enough people see them. WOTB is dominated by new and casual players, and they simply have no idea about spotting, camo reset and tracking. There really should be better tutorials in the game, and they should be offered when the game senses the player doing something wrong. I'm not saying full video tutorials; basic images saying where to track a tank and that they can be perma-tracked. If a player is not using premium ammo, remind them, and that credits can be used. I never used such ammo for 6 months because I saw it cost gold. For spotting, there should be a symbol appear when you become invisible, just as there is when visible (light bulb). Who the hell knows to count to 10? The mini map is almost useless because it is fixed. It should rotate to match your tank's heading, then players can easily know the direction to turn to engage the enemy or help an ally.
