Good demonstration. I will be replicating the same on my Tiago soon. My two cents: 1. Boot lamp is cheaper at Maruti, ₹96 and sold over the counter. No extra delivery charges and the part is exactly the same as from Tata. 2. I would solder the wires to the cabin light. Daily vibrations from the drive will loosen up taped connections. 3. The roof will heat up a lot and therefore cause a potential melting of wire. Better to wrap it up in insulation

I will definitely consider doing soldering (if it fails), and insulation is not much required in my case as the cable I used already have outer quite a bit thick coating (in my case). Hi, My 2017 tiago boot lamp is glowing continuously irrespective of whether boot is open or closed. It is switching off only when car is locked in parking mode. Any suggestions to resolve the issue ?

Actually I have no idea about old Tiago wiring but try this:- 1) there is a switch on the boot lamp itself (white colour button) turn that off. 2) if you know the location of door switch of the boot (black colour button 🔘 located near the rubber strip of boot, near right tail light) try shaking & pressing it check for loose contact. 3) turn off the cabin lamp to off close all doors turn off all lights and then check if it turns off. Don't lock the car just close all doors & lights completely off. 4) If possible for you buy the boot lamp i bought in the video and install it, it has a switch integrated to itself. That's all I can say right now most probably 1st one i think will work. If I knew about the wiring (from where the boot lamp is powered) i would have told you.

Last mai konsa wire bulb mai connect karte since wha pe black red or green then or bas 2 connection ki jaga, please explain

Aapko 3 wire use karne ki jaroorat nahi hai 2 core wires use kijiye, ek black negative, or dusra Jo bhi color ho wo aap button me Lago (as shown in video) ya fir directly positive me lagao ( direct connection).

Bhai iska connection boot switch se kr skte hai ? Kyu ki hm vhi se wiring ka plan bnaye hai. Tiago boot scuff plate bhi install kr rha hu Rear parcel shelf par lifting k liye bhi bna rha hu.

boot switch agar hai to kar sakte ho, lower model me boot switch nahi ata, metal me hole drill krna padega. apke car me he to connection kr skte ho automatic on off hoga fir.

Nice video but don't buy these lights they are useless, very low in brightness, simply you can buy a led light witch will cost just 10 to 20 rs and is very bright and consume very less energy of your battery too
