'Bootcamp' 1 - The Right Attitude - EVE Null Solo PVP Tutorial

In this series, I will be attempting to teach the many lessons of EVE Online Null Sec Solo PvP in short and informative videos. This is the first video of the series, and focuses on having the right attitude to get into PvP and to help build the foundation for future successes and kills. Future videos in the series will focus on specific skills such as situational awareness, module management, hotkey usage, while some will talk about certain mechanics, such as tracking, signature radius, and more.

When you get that really good kill you feel so great but then when you lose a kill because you make a mistake you want to throw your computer out the window

Mate, I'm late to your channel... pretty much a newbro but with a lot of SP from constant training despite not playing and been really trying to venture into solo pvp in null. Your videos are really good man, very detailed, well put together which is rare as a lot of Eve training vids tend to forget their target audience and start talking like I'm already an expert. Also been looking at some of your old twitch streams which are great to watch, very entertaining! I see it's been a while since you posted a vid on either but I think you should contiune! Esp on the nullsec/pvp for newbros direction as it's crazy difficult to learn and Eve lacks a lot of "current" tutorials... lots from what I've found it pretty outdated and not with the current meta. Thanks for the content bud, keep it up!

Great video! Please make more:) I'm only started to learn pvp, but yea, that's 100% true - you shouldn't be afraid to lose your ship. It's just a bunch of pixels at the end. Also, what is really helpful is to record fights and analyze them later. It's very easy to spot critical mistakes.

Videos about mentality, strategy, and tactics are very much still applicable. For a player just getting into Eve, you can generally trust any video that is a few years old. Besides specific ship fits that are 5+ years old, a lot of tutorial videos are still very relevant today.

but can you make money without attacking unarmed ship ? what prevent me to try and continue playing is that i fear that pvp-ing armed ships is just throwing your hard earned ISK through the window. If that's the case why woul i bother ? Am not interested to bully weakling and it's not interesting to risk my ship with no interessting returns like you know risk = reward.

I don't pvp to make money. I do it for fun, because thats what a game is for. I make money by other means.
