Booth Destruction ~ Vintage Fair 2019 ~ Wind Destruction

This has been the hardest video for me to put together, but I want to share it with you guys because I know you are wondering what exactly happened on June 27th. For the past year, I've had the time of my life getting ready for a local vintage fair and after setting everything up last Thurs. afternoon, a terrible storm came through and took everything down. :(

There were 16 of us at our home when an F5 tornado hit our town, Joplin, MO. Our children and grandchildren were in our home at the time....our home was destroyed...we lost 8 cars....but, Prise God, not one of us even had a scratch! Father God just put his arms around us ! We were praising And thanking our Lord Jesus during the entire experience. There is much more to my story but enough said. Your faith will see you through....God bless you, dear! 🤗🤗🤗🤗

Mary .. you weren't being selfish in the least. You were/are heartbroken and devastated. I'm sorry this happened, and I do know you will salvage all pieces, at one time or another. I knew you'd have the best booth! I don't do any outdoor fests with my art on canvas, simply because of the weather, be it rain, wind, or extreme heat, so I totally understand. Please do take this on a light note .. but I couldn't help but think of the movie with your quote "there's no place like home". It was relatable, unfortunately on that note. As mentioned before ... Just sat and watched this video and was truly brought to tears, Mary. I watched you over the last several months working hard on each one of the pieces of furniture, signs, candles, etc. and know how much hard work you put into each item.....how much of your pride and your spirit were incorporated into each of those. I am so sorry this happened to you. Two years ago my craft partner and I lost two pop-up canopies in straight line winds of 70+mph, we actually held on to the canopy poles during this wind and rain..it is devastating. Prayers to you and your family. Stuff can be replaced but thankfully no one was injured of killed and that is the most important thing! God Bless You!

HI Mary I feel your pain 2 years ago my business partner and I experience the same disaster. We were told it was a "micro burst" in Gloucester Ma . Every tent along the water was completely destroyed. We have a photography business and only suffered minor damage to our product as we could see the storm rolling in.At one point my business partner and I hung onto the top bar of our10x10" tent so it would not blow away.
