@@goldensaiyan4 ya bout that the new mode AS at least this first version of it Favors Destruction characters just as much as Hunt because you need to kill the summons for the bosses to be attacked and if you don’t kill them it makes the fight harder so Blast Attacks work amazing in this new mode.

The reason Gallagher is bumped up for the current MoC is really favors DoT and break teams in addition to being mostly weak to fire and wind, which obviously benefits Gallagher a lot, but disadvantages Gepard. The tier 2 is literally just the rating for characters who do their job fine and will get the job done but don't particularly excel when compared to other characters within the same class. Luocha still excels at healing which is why he is in tier 1, but he's not outstanding in the same way Fu Xuan, Aventurine and Huohuo are.

From my experience Gepard works best for my Acheron. He seems to have higher aggro than Aventurine even when he is wearing Trend LC. He himself adds 3 stacks to Acheron when the enemies decides to all jump him when the battle starts. I have mine at 134 speed with the Vonwac rope and sphere so he is isually the first to act, if he manages to freeze an enemy Acheron can Ult. So yes I agree he should probably go higher but he will have to be built properly.

Him being considered a specialist is silly. It used to be a category for units that just don't do well as hypercarry units but have synergy with others. Boothill does not work this way at all, he's self suficient just like any of the other dps units. If specialist just means niche then we might as well move Clara to that side too. Specialist was created for units like Topaz because ranking them as a standard dps would be unfair since they would be evaluated based on damage alone and it would ignore what they can achieve in the right teams. It's just silly, if the devs release more gimmicky units like him, the specialist section will end up completely full of units while the dps one remains mostly unchanged.

Mei definitely, not just for break meta but because she works in any team on top of the break team. HMC probably should go up too since we'll have both Boothill and moreso Firefly who can use them, which kinda makes them the Kafka of break teams.

I need help, guys. I'm currently at TB 44, have played for 2 weeks and now doing Penacony chapter. I'm trying to build my first team which is Serval, Tingyun, Pela and Fu Xuan. My second team is gonna be a DPS, HMC, Ruan Mei and Gallagher. Right atm, I need to get Fu Xuan, Ruan Mei and the DPS for the second team. I have saved up to 150 pulls in total. I need an advice about what DPS to choose. Considering the current and next patches, we're only gonna have Boothill and FF as good DPS. So who should I go for if I just need him/her to be able to clear end game content (no need to sweaty) and not too heavy investment?

Firefly is more versatile as she'll be good for all the endgame modes(MoC, PF, AS, SU) whereas Boothill won't do well in PF except maybe with certain cacophony's that benefit hunt characters. Plus, Firefly's best team is that exact team of HMC, Mei, Gallagher whereas for Boothill it varies a bit more for what his best team is. Generally it's Mei+Bronya especially if the enemies don't have imaginary weakness, but without Bronya he probably won't consistently perform as well as Firefly+HMC. Could be wrong about that last part, but yeah.

No fucking way Pela is better than SW in every comp, she aplies 3 debuffe max, so 20%less dmg boost for ratio. She doenst implant weakness, so useless for break teams in fights with no matching weakness. SW is better for Acheron bcs she has at least 1 debuff guaranteed every turn for free, no sp requied, while Pela needs pearls of sweat or to use skill points.

Well in Aoe situations she's better and unlike SW she's F2P so yes at the highest lvl of play sure SW > Pela easily however 70% ish of the player base probably doesn't even have her.

I think they put boothill under the "specialist" category mainly cause of his damage being reliant on the enemy being weakness broken. Same for kafka, whose majority of damage will be enabling the DOTs present on the enemies Ratio on the other hand doesn't fully rely on debuffs. Like you can more or less play him without any debuffers and just rely on the 60% rng for his skill follow up attacks (sinve he himself applies a single debuff)

every dedicated follow-up dps (dedicated FUA) is a single target dmg dealer and FUA is one of the strongest teams in the game rn. The days of single targets being mid are in the past in some cases

Nah he's not that good atm. I tried him in MoC 11 first half and dude just sucks ass. The moment MoC lineup removes mobs his dmg falls off the cliff. Tbh I FF is just way more consistent in term of breaking enemies without having to care for the enemies lineup.

He may not be the best dps in your eyes. But he is the current best breaker. He was not categorized as a DMG Dealer on the tier list. - He was labelled as a specialist and so his rating is based on the power level of a specialist

The one with svarog??? That one is mostly good against dot units. Even tho he has an implant he will not bet that good there. And also the dino is very tanky and gets defeated faster when against dot units

FF seems to be way more universal breaker than him due to her implant being way easier and having Gallanger helping with the break but we'll see once she comes out.

@@kushj9568 yes but ideally you want 1 mob since he takes too long to ramp up without them. You can work around that by using Kafka & Ruan Mei but it's still a little rough.

The next game mode is raising SW value quite a bit but I agree in MoC, especially since Jiaoqiu is coming out and she's being replaced by him in Acheron teams.
