Bootle High School - Marian Way building 1991

Bootle High School Marian Way building video from 1 Sept 1991.
It closed in July 1991 when all pupils moved to Browns Lane.
It would be demolished one month later.
This building was originally Bootle Grammar School For Boys, then Warwick Bolam upper school building and 6th form.

LIved in Columban Close, when we had The Tommies, Warwich Bolam, Countess of Derby and the Catherines all now gone, not to mention the Holy Ghost club and Church gone along with the Cabbage.

Yeah they did exist but, video quality was not as these more modern types are.But, without the right equipment these old videos done on old cameras would never be seen by others. Not now or ever.

I was there before the boys from 1954 to 1957. It was Netherton Moss ‘A’ junior school. It was built for the Boys Grammar but they were in Balliol Rd Bootle and didn’t move here til after 1957.

it was the school I was indoctrinated at and 40 years later I woke up to the words "teach a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it", I did depart.

Ye ye was Warwick up until 84/85 my last yr. joined countess an became Bootle high.

Title is WRONG I know as a lad i went to this school it's brother/ sister building on Glovers Lane BOTH LONG GONE!!! Both were called Warrick Bolam SECONDARY MODERN COLDITZ ( to me ) & this one was THE GRAMMER of same name & we use to beat the living 💩 out of St Thomas Mcquinnas ( excuse my spelling error) Almost every week. 😁😁😁😁😁😁

@@chriskeller4563 Chris I think i vaguely remember you being at that school But, i can't be a full 100% due to some issues i have now. But, can you remember which classes you was in when you attended them. Because as i have mentioned my mind is far from perfect & sadly no sign of improving.
