Survival games are such a difficult genre for me - I appreciate the commitment to high-stakes realism, but they often edge too close to the line between rewarding and tedious. Realistic fire-building is really cool, but is it really cool the 100th night? Hearing you don't get a backpack until later-game makes me wary about which side of the line this game falls on.... but oh damn those coconuts? Maybe will win me over 🥥

Yeah, it's the case by case basis for me. If it's too realistic... Why am I playing? But if it's realistic in a sense of, "I'd never experience this in MY life," then I'm down. Worth it for coconuts, tho.

I love this game. During the demo period I played a ton and it was just dogs for me and those were scary enough 😂 once I have time I am excited to hop back in. One gripe is the inventory but it’s ok

Yeah I purposefully went into the game blind but I did NOT expect it to go dark fantasy like that. lol If they add an inventory, even for one item on your back, I'd be so excited to play this on the regular.

Here's your fun coconut fact: if you find a knife in one of the chests, you can use it to cut a hole into the top of the coconut so you waste less of the milk. I've clearly been watching too many videos about this game but it just looks so unique and interesting.
