I was able to do this today, I removed the code from the footer liquid and it worked! Going into the theme content and adding a space did not work for me-Shopify must have updated this since. I appreciate how quick and to the point you got. Thank you so much!

the first one is working only on your store language , but when u change to another language , the power by shopify will appear , so the 2nd one its the solution people need . thnks mate for the info .

Jake please can you do one that removes the dawn theme pop up subscribe thing because it’s doing my head in. It keeps popping up every 20-30 seconds and distracting customers which is a negative 🤦🏽‍♀️

That is probably added by some css in your theme. If you share your website URL I can take a look and see how it is added.

Really? Are you the site admin owner? And is it a custom built theme? Are you able to edit the theme code files?

I just tested and it looks like the starter uses a theme called spotlight that doesn't have the customization options shown in my video. Sorry it looks like your stuck unless someone sees this and can share a fix.

It should be in the footer file also. Do you see the year listed in there? Look for liquid {{ date | date: "%Y" }}
