I enjoyed the stories, but the last ad-lib part at the end was my fave bit lol. Make the most of your precious daughter as they grow up soooo fast, record as many of the happy times u spend together as u can, and keep every painting, letter, etc (I still carry a couple of notes in my wallet from my daughter when she was a kid, she'll be 25 soon!) those will be the most treasured possessions u own. Liked, subbed etc.

I remember that horrible incident at the Falls in Yosemite. I'm a native Californian and I've been on that Mist Trail several times. I was always very careful because the trail can be damned slippery from the condensation. What a horrible scene that had to be. Earlier there was an incident where a young man held his baby Michael-Jackson Blanket-style over the top of the falls. Everyone yelled at him until he withdrew to safety thank God. But a young woman straddled a rock in the stream above the falls to take a selfie I think, and fell into the stream. The strong current swept her to the actual falls while two young men trying to grab her (one tried to grab the one grabbing her) got swept down stream to everyone's horror. Can you imagine seeing that? One observer said a young man being quickly carried downstream had a look of horror on his face as he helplessly was swept to his death, knowing none of the people watching could possibly help. The adults in that church group must have felt awful. Wilderness areas are dangerous, it cannot be overemphasized...they should have been under a much tighter rein of supervision. What a nightmare. 1:03:06

For the first story. I was in the army did dismounted reconnaissance and very well acquainted with raidos and radio waves and it's fairly common for those kids to hear that guy and the parents not to. Direct frequency pointed at their radio and not at the parents could've easily done that. Still pretty weird an adult man trying to lure some kids to him
Summary of 1st story. I heard a snap in the woods and years later decided to make a video about a noise with no follow up.

Thank you so much for leaving out the f bombs . I can turn you all the way up and not fumble to hit pause when my kid runs in and out of the room. As a parent, I appreciate you 😊
@treeclimbers14166 ай бұрын
Not tryna tell you how to parent and not sure of the age of your children, but there gonna hear these words regardless. Majority of the time from other kids. It's better to have them understand they are bad words and with that understanding they now know better. My son when he was 4 going on 5 said a bad word and his mother and both grandmothers were shocked and kept asking where he heard that word and if he knew what it mean blah blah blah.. he played dumb like he didn't know better. but I wasn't fooled. He's not a dumb kid I talk to him like an adult a lot of time. I told him I'm not mad, but I said to him "you and I both know that was a bad word and that he knows better" and I even said I'm sure him n his friends prolly say them when adults aren't around..but with that said we both know you know better now. Since then I've had zero issue with "bad words" and at the same time he's not viewing them as a forbidden fruit. It's like a lot things in life, ei. gun safety. Now I'm in no way trying to promote content with f bombs, I agree with your comment 100% I just also see the pros in exposing to your kid to these things yourself rather than them going to school and finding out on their own and then in turn afraid to talk about said things at home. Sorry if I looked to deep into your comment and I'm telling your something you already know. I'm just thinking about friends of mine with crazy strict parents growing up and how it just ended up creating a divide as they got older.

Hawks are hated I think because they prey on their own kind in a way. I witnessed a hawk attacking a blue jay nest get run off by a mob of dozens of song birds including catbirds, cardinals, blue birds, warblers, wrens, robins...leaving their own nests from all corners of the yard to join the fight. It was inspirational.

Wait, they bury their dead THAT shallowly??? Why ever would they do THAT? Shouldn’t Australian Aborigines have a little teeny bit more Wilderness Survival Bushcraft than THAT? Weird.
@sarajaidritzema92857 ай бұрын
Apparently in Bali the locals don't bury their dead they just do these wooden cages to put over the heads. I remember the story was quite similar to this one, but no caves, they just put their dead out in the elements in a deserted part of their Islands. You have to remember that these cultures have been doing it for thousands of years and the Aboriginal people of one of the oldest cultures, if not the oldest.
