Boppard am Rhein is my father's hone town! He took me there from California on my 50th birthday. Imagine my delight and surprise when the whole town sang Happy Birthday in English! Today I turned 85! What delightful memories I have--what an amazing place, known as The Pearl on the Rhein.

Boppard felt a lot like the original Disneyland. And SO clean...not one loose scrap of paper. A cousin of mine runs a popular Bakerei [bakery]. What FUN!
