Boppard, Rhineland Palatinate, Germany - 24th August, 2014

Boppard is a town in the Rhein-Hunsrück-Kreis (district) in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany, lying in the Rhine Gorge, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It belongs to no Verbandsgemeinde. The town is also a state-recognized tourism resort (Fremdenverkehrsort) and is a winegrowing centre.
This film features views from a walk around Boppard, as well as views from the Sesselbahn (chairlift) of the Rhine gorge at Boppard.
Identified features and locations in the film are as follows: Boppard Hauptbahnhof; Säuerlingsturm; Memorial Statue to Englebert Humperdinck (composer - not the singer); Heerstraße; Oberstraße; Karmeliterstraße; Marktplatz; Saint Severus's Church; Sesselbahn (chairlift); Journey up Gedeonseck; River Rhine; and the 'bendiest bend' on the River Rhine.

Wo blieb die weiße Burg ,direkt am Rhein zwischendurch den heutigen Häusern - ich fand hier Boppard nicht wirklich einladend porträtiert
