Boracay Philippines Discovery Shores Resort Suites Tour. Station 1!

In this video we show you what it's like to stay at DISCOVERY SHORES BORACAY!
We spent a total of 11 nights in Boracay. 5 at Discovery and 6 at The Lind Resort.
Discovery Shores was perfectly located on Station 1. With direct access to pristine part of the beach, amazing service at times our family enjoyed this well appointed stay.
Our Room: We stayed in the Signature Suite. We were first assigned Suite 236 however was quite disappointed. There wasn’t a bath tub, the room didn’t feel finished and the view was obstructed. We expressed our thoughts (politely of course!) and they were kind enough to move us to 238 the very next day.
I have to say, I didn’t think we could be moved as after all we were there during Christmas week… but they managed to do it!
The new room felt bigger. Couch was larger, the towels were better and there was even a Signature Suite Beach bag ready for our use!
Overall the new suite had the fine details we were after. I get it may be just a room/suite but it adds to the feel of the holiday.
Anyway the real question is ....Would we stay here again? Always. The space is just beautiful and so to the staff! Can't wait to come back!

This is a tough one as both have their pros and cons. Discovery Shores - Spacious suites and they offer other styled rooms (highly recommended higher floor rooms and ensure views aren't blocked.) I've stayed in a Jnr suite many years ago right by the main pool and that was pretty good too. - Kid friendly activities. Our kids were given toys while on the beach or in the pool. This didn't happen at The Lind at all. - Staff attentive - Those in Signature suites have a different check in to others, access to a private rooftop pool and access to a non buffet breakfast (we loved the breakfast at the restaurant) - Signature suites are located at the back of the hotel making it closer to the main road should you want to catch a trike into town but you're further away from the beach (2 min walk) - Our suite had a pool. Pump was loud didn't switch off till late 11pm or even 1 am! - Christmas Eve and Christmas dinner buffet was great. Entertainment was a bit dull. However we noticed that New Years eve was amazing there and left the party at The Lind. NYE Music and entertainment was incredible - Room and Pool service was on point. lumpia was amazing same with the halo halo. The Lind - Amazing main desk service from the start and throughout. I lost my phone in transit back- and Kuya Brian from the front desk organised a search party and got it back to me while I was in the airport. - Palabok was off the chart - highly recommend - Spacious rooms but ours had a particular scent that was a little off. We booked late hence the room set up (video coming soon!) - Pools were large and beautiful - Roof top infinity pool was perfect for sunset unreal! - Room service could of been better. Had to follow up on our order a couple of times. However they did leave the best petite desserts at turn down service - Pool service found it hard to get someone to take our order at times.. actually most of the time. It's a hard choice but if I were to go back with the family I would do Discovery Shores as they have large suites great service and really good food. Drinks and food kept coming. But I would also spend At least 1 night at the Lind as the pools are incredible and provided that sense of luxury. Hope that helps and enjoy your trip.
