Boracay's Willy's Rock & Famous Crystal Kayak!

We have enjoyed being in Boracay. Due to the typhoon threatening to hit the Philippines, we were unable to do any water-based activities. So instead, we did a tour of Boracay that included seeing some beautiful beaches, ATVing, and enjoying some fun picture-taking spots.
We started the day off by going to lunch at a yummy Mexican restaurant called MuniMuni right on the famous White Beach. After lunch, we visited Willy's Rock, which looks like a small floating island just off of White Beach. We were able to walk out, climb up the stairs, and see the Virgin Mary statue that has been built there. It was a pretty spot and fun to get a few good pictures.
Then, we headed over to Bulabog Beach on the opposite side of White Beach on Boracay. There, we were able to take some see-through boats, "crystal kayaks," out to take some pictures, and to see down into the water. It was fun to see a few cool starfish.
Next, we took pictures of a beautiful palm tree hanging over Bulabog Beach. It was fun to get our whole family on the tree. When we got back the kids wanted to swim, even though it was raining so hard. We had a fun time playing in the pool. That night, we received several red storm warnings indicating that there would likely be flooding in our area. We will see what happens!

typhoons in PH is just a natural occurence here as we're used to it, if its supertyphoon then thats the time we evacuate if our houses are near the seashore.

That's the Philippine Eagle, also known as the Monkey-eating Eagle, on the 1K bill. It's also our National Bird. And it is actually the biggest eagle in the world in terms of length and wingspan. It is a very beautiful bird especially when it raises its head plumage making it look like a lion's mane. There's a Philippine Eagle sanctuary in Davao where you can see them.

the one thousand peso bill has the Philippine Eagle which is the national bird of the country. it actually does say it on the bill, below the eagle's face. all the philippine bills says what animal is on there, just look closer 😂

new subscriber here sorry though been watching ur vlogs for a while. Admired ur wholesome & christian family. We seldom see western family so close & intact with older & younger kids. Older ones seem so responsible in helping young ones ... we all can relate !!! Fav to do in Bora is jogging/walking from end to end of that 3 km white beach on foot very early in the morning 6-7am when the beach is literally deserted. Sunsets though are magical hence, people usually flock at the time..
