armys!! i see some confusion as to why i didn't include come back home, i promise i didn't forget about it😭 i just considered it an actual bts song/adaptation since they paid for the rights and it's legally a bts song now too. i wanted this list to have only actual covers, songs that they have 0 rights to. come back home is like chicken noodle soup, they paid for the rights so they can have the songs on spotify under their names and profit from them as much as they want😊 these are covers and nothing more, come back home will be in another video about samples and adaptations💜

@@WE__BTS they did! they changed almost all of the raps and (like in chicken noodle soup) they created a new post chorus (tae's part). the iconic "angry hungry yes i'm hangry" is not in the original👀

It's actually part of the original choreography. You can see minwoo removing his jacket and throwing in the original. Even I thought jimin was just being himself but that's not the case lol

I love all these covers, I’m particularly fond of Arirang. If I could recommend something, BTS vocal line covered the Thai song “You and Only You” in their concert in Bangkok around 2014-2015. It was a well known song in Thailand and you can hear how excited Thai armys are while they sing along.

I remember my friend made me watch "I'll be missing you" few months ago, when she was trying to get me to become an army. I couldn't even differentiate the members lol, but I loved it! Two weeks later and several run bts episodes later. I became a baby army 💜💜💜

I will go and see all these covers because only some of them I know and I must say that all they are very good with the covers because they always put a bit of their style in it but they make the song stay familiar and start even better. my absolute favorite is Fix U because it is from my second favorite band after them: Coldplay. It is also a song that has helped me so much to overcome the difficult moments and to know that a group like BTS performed it moves me. thank you for always making these videos, you always let me know a lot about them that I didn't know and you amaze me a lot💜

Sorry, although all of their covers were great, I must say I’ll be missing you is definitely my #1 , but my #2 is Fix You ( not #5 for me ). It’s an iconic performance just for the fact that the rappers actually sang along also. It was fantastic, and also because Coldplay rarely give out their songs to be covered. For this reason, it should be higher ranked in my opinion, but hey….it is your channel, so you have your opinions. Thanks for the video 💜

I must say I a 💯 agree with you o rating these covers by BTS. My mos favourite and #1 cover is "I'll be missing you" too. I listen to it atleast twice a day if I have the time or when I need to heard some harmonies to calm my mind. I like your list. I understand why they did that cover on AHL. For one, the real life woman that Sister Act is based on, teaches them to sing and how to find the soulful vocals. The song was dedicated to her, and they did a great job. So happy about that because they learned a lot and were inspired. They recorded Dark & Wild. Without RM, SUGA, JHOPE writing lyrics, and even JK pitching in, I don't think they could be the group they are today. BTS learned how to use their tome away in the US to their advantage by recording and mastering their music outside of SK, which also gained them influence and valuable friends in the industry. Any other kpop act would not last. TXT is touring and struggling to keep a smile on their face. The chemistry is not there yet. They have to figure things out and it may come as they mature. They are doing a good job on stage for the most part. Very happy for them.

I also want to add something. About the song "As I Told You" by Kim Sung Jae, some say that BTS also chose that song because of the tragedy and the justice for the late singer. They are reminding us, the listeners and people to not forget what happened to him. I love the song and I want the english translation. I was shocked when I read the news about the said singer. It makes me angry because what happened is why justice must be served.

Eek I’m gonna have to definitely disagree with fools being that low… still one of my favorites ! But we all have different opinions of biases of course lol easy to understand how these tend to reflect choices. Def find your videos pretty cool and tend to agree with you more than not.. but it’s okay for your bias to influence your videos lol totally normal. I had an idea for a video that I have never seen done and if I made videos I would want to do this but I don’t lol it’s about the “I have no clue what they’re saying” argument from so many English speakers. I want to clarify that I’m not only talking about white Americans bc it always seems like it’s BTS vs white Americans who speak English… when they’ve def got more support than not in the US from many white Americans. I’ve heard the ignorant “I don’t know what they’re saying” excuse from people in all walks of life every color of the rainbow and many countries around the world. It would be nice to not make it solely about BTS vs white Americans bc it stereotypes white Americans and dismisses the many other English speakers around the world who are not white and not in America… or not one of those labels. We can’t fight ignorant stereotypes… by using ignorant stereotypes. Also I’m not saying you’re doing this at all… just some thoughts I had watching your BTS vs. boyband video which I loved and thought it was so well done and informative for baby army and even possibly moderate army lol must have taken a lot of research and effort and I appreciate that 100% ! I really love your videos, I've watched almost all of your videos actually. The effort and research you put into making each one is so appreacitiave. I just wanna add one thing about BTS' cover of Aririang, they not only modernised it but also cared to included the various regional versions of Arirang beginning with - Jindo Arirang, Jeongseon Arirang, Millyang Arirang and Gangwon Arirang, in BTS' own version which is really impressive. I really admire BTS for staying rooted in their culture and spreading it to the world, to people like me from across the ocean. It's their spirit of "let me sing you the song of my people" which inspired me to take pride in my own culture and motivated me to study more about the culture of my own country.
