I think Borat pranked millions of people when this movie came out on DVD. I went to Blockbuster to rent the movie. When I got home I opened up the case and the DVD looked like it was a pirated copy burned on a cheap DVD. I hopped back in the car and drove the Blockbuster and told them this is the video that was in the case. The employee chuckled and filled me in on the joke.

Everyone was laughing so hard, no one could ever stop laughing because someone somewhere was still laughing and it just wouldnt stop. My stomach and face hurt so bad...and people all over were choking and gagging. Its funny just thinking about it. I wonder if anyone ever just recorded the audience watching the movie so you watch the reaction. The funny thing is that, in Kazakisthan, despite being a lot of Muslim, the most spread religion is a bullshit local one, in which basically they said that the World is the egg of a gigantic eagle, and that the borders of Kazakistan were drawned by that eagle with its beak. They also believe that the sea is what come out from the Earth-egg, like the red of the egg. It's serious, give a look on internet. So Borat parodiating the exagerated Kazakistan's patriotic vision of the World is not so exagerated...

Luenell and Pamela where the only ones in on the joke, everyone else they interact with believe he just wants to interview them on being American, Kinda like the prank show Jackass. The best part about this movie is the general reactions from the people throughout the movie majority of them did not know it was a movie until obviously afterwards when they have to sign a release. "In the original Borat movie, most of the people featured were not actors and were unaware they were in a gag. They were usually only told they would be asked to sign release forms, but were not given any other warning about what they would be doing. For example, the villagers of Glod were paid a small amount each day and told the movie was a documentary about rural life." The only one I didn't really like was Bruno but no one really did, it got bad reviews as well. There's a sequel to this borat though (Borat Subsequent Moviefilm-2020) which did pretty damn well
