Yeh safaid shirt wale ko BGT ki history ka pata nahi hai. These were the first two players to cross 10K runs in test. Pakistan v Australia is called the Benaud-Qadir series to honor the two leg spinners. In fact Qadir was Richie's favorite bowler in the 80s. He has mentioned that during his commentary a few times

Btw, we are mentally ready for losing BGT this time, our team isn't looking strong this time, especially because of our Batters. Our Batters are full of chokers. Poor akash chopra does not get credit but he was instrumental in getting the ball old by playing the first fifteen overs… in Aus if you can play the first 20 overs then the pitch does ease out for batting and sehwag took full advantage
