Border Prayer Rooms Commissioning Service

This short video (7.15"') shows highlights of the Commissioning Service held in May 2011 at the start of the Prayer Room Project established down the border of England and Wales in May 2011. Please view the two related videos to see a montage of the 28 prayer rooms that were creatively established for that special fortnight of prayer and the full version of Roy Godwin's talk on Prayers of Blessing. Roy Godwin is the Director of the Ffald y Brenin Christian Retreat Centre and House of Prayer in North Pembrokeshire, Wales in the UK.
The Border Prayer Room Project was established by Paul and Yvonne Mason to facilitate God's people living along the border of England and Wales to pray for God's blessing upon each others' communities. The aim was to foster a heart of reconciliation and unity between the people living along the border in Wales and England.
Daphne Godwin led a prayer-walk down the length of Offa's Dyke from Prestatyn to Chepstow during the fortnight of prayer.
