When I was in the Royal Observer Corps, we used to have our meetings at RAF Watton when were not at the ROC Post. I remember watching the guard house personnel patrolling the fence line on bicycles. Used to be called Eastern Radar, before Border Radar.

I remember when I was at RAF Boulmer in the late 70's and early 80's we had the pleasure of sharing our bunker with Border Radar!

Yes,l was there too.l remember it fondly.Good times!Also 202 squadron (Whirlwinds,and later Sea Kings).Where has the time gone 👍!

Enjoyed a short stint at RAF Watton in the late 70s during the Eastern Radar days. I don't think the officer's mess had changed much in very many years.

I was with Airworks from 77 to 82 fixing picture jump mostly 😊 must have been there at same time. The place has changed out of all recognition now.

@@picturesofrafwatton The whole of the UK has changed. I left there 32 years ago. Did a short stint with Airwork at Llanbedr before they were sold out.
