A viral video is being shared in Gambia since yesterday showing what the speaker was witnessing. The individual claims to be an eye witness during a confrontation between the villagers of the Omorto in the Gambia and Senegalese troops who pursued a truck loaded with logs. According to the speaker, the troops from Senegal wanted to impound the truck. The driver refused and the villagers came in to confront the troops. The troops eventually retreated leaving the truck behind as hostile crowd from the village continued to intensified.
