And then when Maya gets killed, she puts literally all the blame on Lilith and takes zero accountability for it. And then she just gets granted Maya's powers without really earning it and then gets to lead the Crimson Raiders. Her personality is annoying throughout the story, having Maya's death on top of all that is what makes the hate justified. Fuck Ava.

In this case, I find Borderlands to depict the consequences of corporatocracy: natural resources overexploitation, human overexploitation, decay on the overall concept of humanity, abandon of social structures (If they exist whatsoever), poverty, etc. I have seen these effects in person, and honestly, Borderlands to me is kind of familiar already because I have seen enough of it. This is why I believe Sartre spoke about purgatory to be the present, and hell to be the others. Your comment moved me because I have not only seen it in Tina... I have seen it in so much people actually... Getting through loss is hard enough in a dystopia.

Hearing Tina snap hits hard since she had a close connection to Roland and everyone just thinks she doesn't. "She's a kid doing kid shit, making adults angry and life extremely hard" they taught but oh boy. I will break down if Tina dies in BL3. It would hit harder if she talk about going to meet Roland when she passes and telling Lilith she'll tell Roland Lilith said hi before passing.
