No, it’s not like you’re losing points anyway. Think of it as using a credit card. You get to have them now, but have to pay for it later.

About the comment about spending the guardian points, I personally have already and the only thing it changes is the rank number it displays. It doesn't take away any of the percentages that you have raised or the perks you get from having them done, once you go back offline all the levels you would have gained online will show up as points, even though it will show negative points while online you can still spend them whenever you go offline because it will snap back to the actual rank you have aquired

If you have trouble this is what I did disable both rules start up borderlands as soon as you start up borderlands quickly return to firewall settings and enable both rules it will still say signing in upon boot up and after a few minutes will put you in completely offline hope this helps !

For people doing the first farm for eridium in mayhem 3. don't load the game until you've disconnected internet. It reverts the game back to the original buff for eridium and you get way more.

literally no need to power level in bl3 unless you dont like the game. Just play the game in noramal mode and if you want any one time items at max just play TVHM

I agree, level boosting to 50 is pointless. If they'd already released all the dlcs and you've played through the story atleast once then go ahead but otherwise (in my opinion) it just feels like you're not appreciating the game the way the devs wanted it to be appreciated

Duplication using your vault is a thing I came across on accident. Simply can’t be the host and spam the item you want to dupe into your vault. Like on Xbox spam A on the item.

You're perfectly fine spending your guardian tokens that you earned off line. It's not cheating and the game isnt punishing you for getting "too much xp." What is happening is that guardian tokens are supposed to require more and more XP as you earn each one, but in off line they all cost the same amount no matter how many you have. So when you go online, the game recalculates how many tokens it thinks you should have based on your total guardian XP and it sees you have too many. The game does not take them away from you, it just gives you a bunch of negative tokens that you have to earn back before you can start spending tokens again. So there's nothing lost, only gained, though once you get to a certain point it will be extremely difficult to earn more guardian tokens online, you wont have any less allocated than you should.

Its perfectly ok to spend Guardian points while offline. While online, it will show a negative number, BUT the points you spend STAY active. And the negative number goes away when back offline. Gearbox has said they are working on a patch to fix the bug. But again, you are perfectly fine to spend the points offline. It doesn't affect your character at all. ALL points stay active.

With regards to guardian tokens, I opted to spend up to 225 tokens to unlock all the perks and let myself go negative so I could have the perks and stats early and just farm back up to that point. I only have like -40 coins to go or somethin

Doesn't matter if you spend the tokens you may go negative but you still get the bonuses so it's a win win farm 1000s of token which will take 9x longer in normal so either way you're way ahead
