Exquisite list SGZ! Glad to see OPQ at #1. Tho the Monarch is great w crazy high dps, it feels kinda heavy & unwieldy, esp in bipod mode. The OPQ feels lighter, perfectly balanced, more precise & doesn’t slow you down. When scoped it’s like a sniper on steroids. Thanks for clearing up all the confusion between the Blade Fury & Guy Fieri btw, lol!

If you're hitting crits consistently with a Rowan's Call, you won't even need to reload. The Lucian's Call is good, but Rowan's Call is just way better.

I feel like the Breath of the Dying is slept on because the orbs it creates after killing someone with the gun are about as dangerous to you as they are to the enemies. Without Zane’s Duct Tape mod, you’ll probably end up downing yourself a lot.

BotD, Monarch, Rowan's Call, Clairvoyance, Star Helix. Those are my favorites ARs in BL3. Clairvoyance and Star Helix seem to be especially accurate in my experience, making them exceptionally fun for me.

Its nice to see the Rowin's Call on the list. Its been a great gun for my Flak and basically the only reason I can kill Joey Ultraviolet on Mayhem 10. Kind of surprised the Koas made the list this time. It is a good gun and definitely underrated.

the big issue with bl2 ars is their downright terrible crit modifier. otherwise theyre actually not completely useless. And GB definitely learned their lesson by the commander lilith dlc, as they added the two best ARs in the game in that dlc

I remember it was normal seeing a comparison to a pistol and EVERY SINGLE stat is worse.. I still don't get why they did that shit. It's not like Axton would have made them OP if they did more damage, after all Maya gets even higher boosts on SMGs and those were great by themselves.

There are so many good ARs in this game. I know you only have so many spots on this list, including the honorable mentions, but I want to highlight two ARs that I think have been criminally slept on. The Juliet's Dazzle, one of the original M4 unique legendaries can seem underwhelming compared to powerhouses like the Bekah and O.P.Q. but between its bullets penetrating enemies, bouncing off of surfaces, and doing splash damage, it's a mobbing machine, especially on Amara. Amara can take advantage of its cryo element lock as well with her skills Go With the Flow and Unweave the Rainbow, both of which have great synergy with the gun. The other is the Ogre, which can be hard to use because of it's atrocious accuracy and its reliance on splash damage, but all it takes is one AOE size increase from a relic or class mod and suddenly it doesn't matter that it's inaccurate. It works great on Moze and Amara because the former amps splash damage beyond all belief, and Amara not only amps splash damage but can also increase projectile speed, further mitigating the poor accuracy.

The Juliets Dazzle has one itsy bitsy teeny tiny little problem though. Idk why, but it seems to not roll with half of the anoints. No kill stack, no Urad, no terror, which gives it a pretty hefty kick in the balls. I have spent thousands of eridium on rerolling that goddamn thing, but I never seen any of those anoints.

@@mister_muffin3625 This is something I've never noticed, but I almost exclusively use ASE weapon damage because it scales better than any other anoint (aside from ASE splash damage when applicable). I can very well see using kill-stack or urad on Moze though, and I'll have to look into this issue for that. EDIT: You are correct about it missing anoints on its table. Sounds absolutely bizarre, but it does limit playstyle choices if you like those anoints.

Just wanted to say thanks for doing all of these. I'm getting back into the game but am doing massive inventory work to thin my loadout and trying to use characters that aren't done with DLCs yet. I'm finer tuning it by doing manufacturer alliance runs or at least the guns I think each VH would use. Your vids help a lot in deciding what to keep and/or reroll

Breath of the Dying is a great weapon, but just keep in mind that the nova that erupts from enemies can hit and damage you, usually leading to an instant KO. Use it from long range unless you want to die a painful death or have Zanes ability to negotiate your own damage.

Wait, where's the Lucian's Call? I know this is subjective, but with its high mag, ammo return and ricochet on crit, fire rate, etc., it's a great AR to have in the backpack.

When Rowan got a buff Lucian was supposed to as well but it didn't take. Its a shame that there is such a large gap between the two.

The Bekah not in the top 5 is seriously insane. I main'd a Flak rifle style build for a long time and the Clairvoyance (literally my favourite gun in the game) doesn't even compare to the Bekah. Overall, it's a great list. Props for giving some love to the Kaos, and the Breath of the Dying.

It honestly is. I have tried it several times now, but for a supposedly "god tier" weapon that can still be used while being 8 levels underleveled, it felt so goddamn underwhelming. Probably one of the most disappointing weapons I have ever tried.

Going back to lvls tho the thing is that when the opq was in its prime that was 15 lvls and 2 lvl increases ago so it fell off a lot

At lvl 72 it has around a 10k difference in damage rolls lol. Besides the only reason the OPQ is even on the list is because of its shock explosion. For instance I like the soul render more but it's also rng with its skulls (which is the only reason it's as high as it is as well).

The faisor underbarrel is the absolute best DPS assault rifle in the game. It isn't even close!! Technically it's underbarrel is a shotgun but as for ranking and it being an assault rifle firstly, it's omission from this video is a travesty. Here's hoping that you at least have it near the top of the shotgun list. The sawbar not ranked in the top 5 is also a head scratcher.
