What a fantastic app for the iPad. This app encourages to use your iPad in more creative ways than the usual synth with a standard midi keyboard. You cannot create precise pieces of music but it is strong from a creative point of view. You can import any sound and then using granular synthesis you can immerse yourself into the magic of music creation creating ambient, fantasy, soundscape types of music or anything you fancy.
This series hopefully will help you to overcome the fact that there is no a manual yet available at the time of writing.

At first I was confused because the screen was virtually black apart from a small number of icons for almost two minutes. I checked the video in other browsers and was still wondering what might be wrong and then I realised that nothing was going to happen until a sample was loaded in. Then I was hooked ! A piece of text (or speech) indicating the minimal interface at the start might have bene useful but other than that it looks super. Thanks.

Which is better - Borderlands or Bleass' Granulizer? I know its the same type of apps but totally different, but I'm curious for an opinion.

Very different apps. Some points below: 1] Bleass Granulizer is AUv3, Borderlands is not 2) Borderlands let’s you import multiple waveforms and create sophisticated cloud grains with greater controls including animations that Bleass Granulizer cannot compete (adsr, vibrato, etc.) 3) Bleass Granulizer is an effect, while Borderlands cannot be used as an effect 4) Bleass Granulizer is multi bus output, Borderlands is not 5) etc.

I've been using Borderlands for years and I'm a big fan of the app. Just a suggestion for clarity: Maybe simplify and limit to 1 sound file and cloud. Narrow in the X/Y play surface so new users can see how it treats a very small area. With so much random jumping around, it's hard to hear exactly what's going on.
