Borderlands - Movie Review

I appreciate your honesty. I’ve not played the games, but the trailers did intrigue me a little bit, but it didn’t look spectacular from the trailers. Unfortunately, I’ve already got my ticket to see it. I like to support cinemas as much as I can. Seems like August is starting off rough though.

A few years ago, I saw Ariana Greenblatt in “The Boss Baby: Family Business”, even though I didn’t like it, and my only positive was her as the voice of Tabitha. Every time she was on screen, I smiled, because she looked cute. Nothing else worked, and this movie is making that Boss Baby Sequel look like a masterpiece.

I came for Cate Blanchett & Jamie Lee Curtis & really enjoyed it! It kept me entertained and I thought it was visually stunning! Plus, the runtime was short and sweet just how I like! Was it an Oscar worthy movie, no. But it was fun. I don’t know why people are so hard on it.

It feels like Eli Roth poured his heart and soul into making 'Thanksgiving', and this was a paycheck. I've don't know a damn thing about the games, but even I know that everyone is clearly miscast, especially Cate Blanchett.

Earlier today, I found out that “Borderlands” was so bad that it got a 3% on Rotten Tomatoes. I’m not surprised that you gave this movie an F. I was like “I guess I’m not seeing that on my birthday, which is tomorrow.” Blake Lively’s “It Ends With Us”, which I’ve never heard of until now, got a 59% on Rotten Tomatoes. The latter did much better than the former. You win this round, Blake Lively, and I love you!

I haven't played the Borderlands games before, but I was intrigued by this film. Very disappointed with the reviews :( I mean with a stacked cast, stylistic director, and a highish seeming budget, it seemed like it would be at least a C tier movie. I'm genuinely surprised it was this bad

I heard that this movies was God awful. I will probably watch it on streaming one late night b/c it is likely awesomely bad. I have the movie pass and I have zero interest in this film. Did you really go to Yale Jacob or are you just wearing the shirt? You are very good at what you do here on KZbin.
