I live by the ocean near Sydney in Australia and yet I am drawn to the cold climates and starkness of northern Europe and I guess Greenland is about as far as you can go. Beautiful video and ambient music. I also love train travel. It's all here. Thanks.

Interesting video, but this is not the route to Narvik (and the train pictured at the beginning is Finnish)! Do have a look at videos from the line to Narvik, the scenery is even more breath-taking!

Hi Adrian. Oh yes thank you, I used to live near Narvik. This track was written when me and some friends were camping near Harstad and we asked ourselves: "when will a train line be built to cover places like Harstad?" You know, many years this discussion was going on and still is. Though I hear closer to reality nowadays but we'll see. So watching slow train vids on NRK I got inspired to write Train To Narvik as that line like you say is breathtaking. Apologies for the very late reply. Hope you are well and thanks for listening.
