Little known fact: God was listening to this when He created life.

First came this, and then later came life. As it turns it, the first creation was the most important.

77 Drummers!!! Da fuck, New wave shit, masters.... Ahead of their time.... Their score for the brutually violent film "Ichi the Killer" is visceral, and emotional. Incredible

I heard that this band was really good, so I decided to check this song out. What I want to know is what all the fuss is about. I can handle long songs (X Japan's "Art of Life" is six minutes longer than this song, but it's one of my top ten favorite songs from them), and I can appreciate music that is weird and experimental (the Taj Mahal Travellers never fail to put me in a trance). The problem is that while this song has a creative concept, it's also tedious because it doesn't change its direction nearly enough throughout its twenty-three-minute runtime. It could have easily been between six and eight minutes long. If you like this band, can you tell me why you like them? They have potential, and I'd like to be able to appreciate them like you do. It's always nice to have another band to listen to.

Tyler Ludowitz Nice try, but this isn't 2010 KZbin, jackoff.
@thehonorablereverendaddiso19437 жыл бұрын
MeowTheRainbowX Now, then. In my personal opinion, you should listen to their earlier stuff first. I suggest looking up Soul Discharge (either version on KZbin is fine) and Onanie Bomb Meets the Sex Pistols, which compiles both their first album and their first E.P. Then, maybe work your way up to Pop Tatari.

the rapid pace/energy/physicality of the drumming performance, with the extremely slow development and execution of different sonic ideas, it's just like nothing else. only thing i could think of would be some earlyish Can tracks but even then, this is at such an extreme discrepancy between the two. i truly truly adore this one
