Thanks for another very honest review. I was worried about food poisoning with some of those items. The Borgata Buffet will not be on my list of places to try - unless I want some pricey mushrooms, clams, and heart-shaped dessert things.

Truth be told, I was rather disappointed, Maybe if it was NEVER good to begin with, then I wouldnt feel so crappy, but this buffet used to be EXCELLENT... sigh..

Thanks, great honesty. Personally, I wouldn't have paid 10.99 for the dinner. The food also looked old. Stuffed shells w/o sauce is ludicrous. All steak medium well? Careless and lazy. Thanks again for your truth serum.

Hey Danny, something awful has changed that doesn't look like it use to. The food buffet looks like they are cutting back on using top chefs. As you were scanning with your camera I said, "I don't want to eat there." Maybe not enough people are staying at the Hotel. The majority of their money comes from bookings. I would still visit Atlantic City, but rather eat locally. Thanks for sharing.

Borgata Buffet use to be the best one in AC. I went in 2019 and realized their quality went down a bit. AC not being as busy this winter it seems they aren't putting in the effort. I can't believe they have sandwiches lol.. Good review thanks 👍

I've been going to the Borgata since it opened in 2003 and I 100% agree the buffet today is nowhere even close. I'll only go to that buffet for breakfast or brunch to get a fresh egg omelette along with other breakfast foods. I also think the noodle bar NOW is un edible which is disappointing. The bottom line is since MGM bought out boyd nothing in that place has improved

Borgata buffet used to be decent back a few years ago now the quality is crap n terrible! If u can get access to VIP lounge(Black card), less selections but much much better.

The food looked old and dried out. The shells were a joke! This buffet is worth no more than $6.99....and what was with all those sandwiches?? Great review!

Wow after watching this video of this Buffet compared to Hard Rock Cafe I think I would prefer the Hard Rock Cafe. It really surprised me because I would have thought Borgata Casino would have been the better Buffet?

you mean hard rock buffet? (not the cafe, the cafe is a different restaurant inside the hard rock) but yeah, I agree, the food at the hard rock was better this time.

it was a million times better, the HR had nice shrimp. not great, but nice. the Borgata had crappy excuse for a shrimp, I think it was the lowest you can go and still legally call it shrimp.

I think the dessert was the best thing at the buffet. More misses than likes as far as the main food goes.

What does “farm raised” smell like? Good content, unfortunately no trips planned to Atlantic City, thank you though.

Good question! To me, its not that it smells farm raised, but rather it did not smell like wild caught gulf shrimp. The gulf shrimp have a more rich shrimp smell and flavor... or I could be crazy, this is the internet after all.

There is something about AC that I like. Perhaps the impending depressiveness of the surrounding area always looming over my shoulder as I hunt for a new restaurant experience or do some shopping. It gives the trip a sense of danger.

How long is the wait if I want to come right when it opens on Saturday for dinner? Is it possible to make a reservation in advance?

The last few times I been there, there was no line. Makes sense that there is no line because the food mostly sucked. I never tried making a reservation there.

What got me was 80% of high starchy carbs that fill you up fast. Rice, potatoes, noodles, pasta, 2 and 3 kinds of each one. I wouldn't eat there. They take in millions per day and serve up wedding filler food.

The Borgata Buffet is NO Longer the Winner it was. All I can say is since MGM took over they Destroyed what Borgata was. MGM has VEGASSED Borgata Right Out of the Building. Comps are Horrible Food is Horrible Rooms are MEH and Horrible unless they are Free which they NO LONGER are.

HOLY MOLY!!! People there must R.E.A.L.L.Y. L.O.V.E. sandwiches. I have been to my share of buffets, I have not once saw sandwiches on any of them.🫣🫣
