when you check in, if you find the room is too noisy, you should change the room right away. usually the hotel has spare room.

Yes, we didn't know, it was 01:30 in the morning and Sofia was asleep. We tried to make it work somehow and failed.

如果你以后遇到无法处理的纠纷可以拨打110报警电话。特别是在大城市，会说英语的警察还是很多的。

Noise is part and parcel of staying in a city centre hotel, nevertheless, one does wonder why they didn't give you a quieter room to begin with! Anyway, hope it didn't spoil your holiday in Shanghai too much as the city does have a lot to offer for visitors. Can't wait to find out what next ...

u should change the room directly,but maybe they didn’t have other rooms for who check in very late,but u can fight for u right,Shanghai has the best services in china，u can aks for discount last night.

Night shift couldn't do much I guess, also it had to go through our guide which we didn't have a number yet...
