Upres and Denoise are awesome. But also crumplepop for audio is fire! 🎉

I really appreciate your work and support towards the post production community through your videos and the information you share. These are really time savers (makes us lazy at some point though :D). Just want to bring up here that many technical professionals may not have the means to invest in expensive tools but still wish to apply them in their work. My request is if you could include more information about free-to-use tools (or similar methods to create such effects/edits) in your videos, at least dedicate half of our content to such tools in your videos if available, it will help/assist majority of people who are creative but facing financial constraints to brighten up their work.

This is fantastic. I could have used this a few years ago upscaling a documentary with footage from 480 to 4K. Premiere's own upscale has become better over time. But this is great! Great video!🔥🔥🔥

for a part-time video editor these are very cool effects and editing tools but my budget doesent allow for that - so I will continue to watch your very educational videos and work through premiere pro for kindof the same results
@PremiereGal9 ай бұрын
I find some of these effects can be used only in certain use cases, for example, if you really need to improve a clip, you can try out upres/denoise for one month which is resonable, not a full commitment :-)

this is some next level stuff. I want next level stuff in my vids too. please more vids on cool effects! thanks for the vid!

Their effects are pretty good, but i can't stand the lag using them for fast video content like mine. They claim to use GPU but the bar is red so is not using properly, because the render time increase a lot. Just adding a simple webcam border effect make premiere stutter for 10 sec. And i'm on a m2 Ultra. Please Boris just improve the real time usage of your effects!

I would love to use Borisfx but man is it expensive

For some reason I don't see much of a difference if any for the denoise before-after examples. Is this because of the KZbin compression? The upscaling examples are clearly visible.
@PremiereGal7 ай бұрын
If the first clip, zoomed in there is lots of noise, but you need to be zoomed in like 250% to see it really well. YT compression doesnt help 😅

Fails to offer context: that the on-the-fly denoiser is worse than the non-ML Neat Video plugin; and that the on-the-fly uprezzer is worse than Topaz Video AI.
@ALbino9989 ай бұрын
Neat Video is definitely better, plus it's only a one time payment of $79 (or $145 for 4K support). I do think the audio tools she demonstrated do look really useful though and I'm going to check them out.
@PremiereGal6 ай бұрын
My context is that it is in the app vs different software like Topaz. I haven't tried Neat Video, but does it also have an upscaler too?
@ALbino9986 ай бұрын
@@PremiereGal Neat Video doesn't offer any functionality outside of Noise Reduction, Dust & Scratch removal, etc, and some really minor stuff related to those things. It's the gold standard for cleanup with every editing house or project I've worked on, frequently the first step in the pipeline. It's worth noting, however, that it requires a pretty beefy GPU, especially for 4K. There's a free trial, so give it a shot.

I do suggest some free stuff, but upscaling or audio tools always have a fee 😅 It's part of running a business.
