Even streamed you can't get the wonderful detailed rounded acoustic we did in the hall - and such a good choice of piano too - anything is better than Yankee Imperialist Steinway and Sons!

Very nuanced and played with a fresh breeze in his Chopin, so to say. Maybe a little of this new way of playing Chopin? But altogether very enjoyable.

This is breathtaking. I see he’s playing a Fazoli. I wonder if that is helping the melody simply pierce through. With Steinways, it always feels a bit darker and duller. With this piano you rightly hear the contrast between high octaves and the low ones.
