Living vicariously through Boris and Tobias offers respite from depressive drama. It is a love story many hope for and few achieve. We can remember and relive first bloom of romance in our fantasy world we thought was love. Real love comes later when reality of "for better or worse" brings pause. My love has endured almost 48 years with the same man. So thank you to the writers and the actors whose story stirred ancient memories.

Wow, yours is a rare love story, gay or straight. You two have seen virtually the entirety of the gay civil rights movement....... together. I will never have that kind of longevity in a relationship (currently single), because that would put me over age 100. Stories such as yours should be made into movies.

You're right, Bob! The people who are asking for more than kisses or for shirts flying all over are missing the whole style of the script for these two: a romantic dream world where happily-ever-after is not only believable but achievable. It's not reality and not meant to be. It's a sweet love story with enough humor to keep it grounded. It's wonderful that you've had such a long-lived relationship, through everything life has thrown at you.

Boris and Tobias are a pleasant couple and they have a nice story but German Soaps did sooooooo much better with Christian and Olli, The chemistry between Joe Weil and Thore Scholerman was incredible. Verbotene Liebe knew how to write realistic relationships. Sturm Der Leibe feels like satire. Still sad to see their story end, and Florian and Max are beautiful AF, why didn't they have them shirtless at least 50% of the time haha.

The good thing about Chrolli was that it has everything in details. Their every day relationship, good & bad moments. It was full of lovely moments. & their kiss, OMG!!! it was so realistic. Each time they kissed i could feel it. But it was a regular soap, which ran for more than 10 years so, we can't really compare it to small series like #tobias & Boris. Chrolli in his own league was legendary. It was my most favrt couple & will always be. It so sad Thore had to leave the show, so the creatoer had to end their relationship. But chrolli still live in our heart.
