The artwork definitely tells a story. Kryptonite was his weakness, now, it's The Man Of Steel's GREATEST power. Lex's plan definitely backfired on him. Superman is without a doubt one of my Top 5 Favorite Characters from DC Comics, this song, definitely does him justice.

My fanfic story idea that plays in my head whenever I listen to the song Kryptonite - By 3 Doors Down Based on the story where Batman kills the joker, goes to jail, and Superman breaks in and offers to break him out in order to thank him for stopping Joker from killing Supes’ wife and daughter. kzbin.infoN87D3Arwu6c Instead of just hugging Batman and leaving after Batman refuses, Supes walks into the prison and shouts in super voice that “if anyone touches Bruce,” pointing to the bruises he sees on Bruce’s face, “that they will have to answer to HIM. “ He then burns images of the Batsignal and the Superman logo, intertwined, all over the prison with heat vision and leaves. Bruce turns to the shaken guards and says that he can’t leave, because staying and the guilt it causes Clark is the only way to keep Supes recently rage in check. Without it, who knows what Clark might do to the world. Supes returns, saying, “I heard that.” Supes takes a knee and apologizes, asking Bruce, “How do you do it? How do you stay so pure? How do you dance with the devils, yet remain human? Is it because you have no powers?” Bruce says, “Do you want to see? Come back every Wednesday, 3 Doors Down.” Clark comes back, and we see that Bruce leads meditation and martial arts classes. The bruises on his face aren’t from inmates trying to kill him, but from sparring matches. Bruce is rehabilitating the inmates, while also rehabilitating himself. A few weeks later we see other members of the Justice League - Wonder Woman, Cyborg, Flash… looking at the classes in awe…as Superman, in full uniform, sits crosslegged with the inmates, meditating while Bruce leads the class. - Epilogue: An inmate who looks obviously mentally disturbed, tries to get others to go in on a plot to just throw unknown yet disgusting looking material on the heroes in the prison, either as a prank or revenge. Other inmates, afraid of retribution, want to harm the disturbed inmate, whispering, “Bro u know Supes can hear EVERYTHING. We have to stop this idiot before he pisses off Supes!” Before they can shank the disturbed inmate, another huge inmate, takes the disturbed inmate softly, and guides him to the infirmary where a mental health doctor was waiting. “Ma’am, can you check if Jason is on his meds? He might have sold them.” We cut to Supes, who until now had been meditating with his eyes closed. He opens one eye, looking in the direction of the inmates. He had clearly been listening. He looks at Bruce, and grudgingly nods his head, acknowledging Bruce’s way is working.

What I see here: Superman and Lex Luthor were fighting in the streets. Luthor’s armor equipped with a Kryptonite beam. It struck Superman and he dropped in agony. But then something happened. His body began ABSORBING the kryptonite. It made him much stronger. But he never lost sight of who he was. It made him stronger, but he still proceeded with calm, and constant control. This new strength tore through Luthor’s armor like a knife through butter. He pulled the man out and dropped him to the ground for the police. The impact breaking his ankle so he won’t run, not that it matter’d if he did. The kryptonite also enhancing his speed making him 1000 times faster than even the flash. There was no one faster. With these new abilities he would proceed with more control and less strength behind his blows, as his strength, with the kryptonite in his blood, made him 1000 times stronger. Zod would have quite a surprise when he attacked Earth again
