Tony respected Baron because Baron is a self-made man with the character and chops to lead a successful enterprise Tony himself was reliant on. Tony appreciates Baron's leadership and what he does for the mob, Baron appreciates Tony actually entering a mutually beneficial relationship with him and keeping things civil. His relationship with Baron is basically the closest Tony gets to being able to cordial with someone on "his level" without needing to worry about power games and back-stabbing.

Remember when you were a kid, at that field box at Shea, opening day? Me, you, your dad and Paulie here? Oh yeah. Kingman was just back from the Cubs. Mookie Wilson hit that foul tip, beaned that guy in the loge.

David Catch actually was in the talks of a side show called “Barone Sanitation” and it was going to be based on Dick Barone. Kinda like a Call Saul for Sopranos.

What an Arc...the ending with Paulie and Barone's son on the dock was classic Sopranos writing. Paulie crying in the scene before at the hospital with Mrs.Barone pleading for her son's life, then he acts like a gansgster right after. He is what he is. Just amazing.
@RorschachqpАй бұрын
Paulie is angry because he sympathizes with the mother and thinks the son is being very disloyal, both to Tony and to poor mama Barone.

How the hell do you even sell coke from out the back of a garbage truck on it's route??
@pinecactus96727 ай бұрын
I always assumed it was whole sale not direct to customer. So you keep the 10kg of coke in your garbage truck cause cops don't stop a garbage truck then you give it to whoever is picking it up on the route or even dump it in the person's bin and they take it from there's I assumed the money was handled elsewhere. I could be wrong.
@lt.lasereyez88917 ай бұрын
@@pinecactus9672 If that's the deal than it's really stupid. I know some people that did some illegal things and they would buy the same type of van that the council uses then put stickers on them identical to the real ones. Nobody bats an eye when a council van is in a strange place doing things and no cops stop it.
@pinecactus96727 ай бұрын
@@lt.lasereyez8891 I have no idea what a council is or how that translates to murica structure. If it's a city owned truck then it might be the same type of thing as garbage trucks are seen usually as city related.
