We considered the atacks as well as corsa extremes for my Challenger, but decided on SLP loudmouth cat-backs instead and are the best bang for the buck. They are a much simpler design and isn't much to them, so that reflects the price are also lighter than the other systems because of it. They basically consist of 3" with open chamber racing bullets, and eliminate the reso's. So they are not overly engineered, but there is a lbit of drone without the resonators. Although it doesn't bother me and can remedy it by just changing up the RPM's a little, and it goes away. They sound killer on its 6.1 and is why I say that they are the best bang, at half the price of the others
@robinmulder81673 жыл бұрын
I went with the Atak on my 2013 SRT8. Love the sound, yeah it's loud, but I don't find it too loud. Great fit (cat-back system) Installed myself on a friend's rack. Only took about an hour and a half. My car is very clean though, no rust etc. Saw some minor defects in the chrome tips but they are tucked under the body so they aren't visible.

One thing I would like to hear and Ive seen other people wanting to know too, is the difference in idle volume. I'm really liking the S-types, but worried it'll be just as quiet as stock when not under load. I assume the simulators would give a better chance of increased idle volume, but not sure about it all. I love my scat to death but unless its a cold start, it wont draw much more attention at start up and idle than a minivan a few parking spaces over.

If you are considering these pass on them. I ordered the Borla ATAK in September of 2021 from my Corvette dealer. They did not arrive until a/4/22. It was so long I decided not install these and had found another product available. Borla with not having even made them yet refused to cancel the order. Grudgingly, I had them installed and low and behold it has an issue that generates a sound like you have a fan belt that is loose. So now I have to order a replacement for 3 to 5 months from now while driving what sounds like a souped up '72 Vega. The candle on top of the icing is that Borla will not pay for the require labor to remove their faulty product and install the new set. They do not have good customer service and will not support you their customer.
