I saw them at the Hong Kong cafe, Los Angeles around 1993. There was a random desk inside the venue. The singer dragged it to the front of the stage and sat behind it while singing for the entire show-as the crowd went ballistic. It was kinda rad.

A great moment in 90s punk where it went back to its basics! Great band and great group of people.. Sam sponsored and helped many a label, zine and record store into existence at this time along with some other crazy and inspired folk.. long live Weehawken, Rorschach, Born Against, Dear Jesus, Gern Blanstein, vermiform and on..

Hard to believe this came out in '91. There must have been a ton of bands who were influenced by this band (and the second half of this record in particular)..it's impossible not to hear the influence in so many who came years after. Seriously impressive.

And Sam s Dear Jesus fanzine and Vermiform label were also super important, too bad all that pop punk garbage started coming out soon after

SAM MCPHEETERS! I am fucking laughing so hard, this brings back such great memories of SAM announcing to the crowd that, "NOBODY can DANCE as HARD AS ME!" Then he would throw himself into the crowd! I brought this on vinyl for $5! Thanks again for sharing this.

Pageninetynine brought me here, they loved these dudes! And I can see why, good shit, dissonant, fast, angry and rebellious hardcore of the early 90s, kinda bordering post-hardcore (as in Fugazi, Honeywell, Ulysses) territory, very ahead of their time.
