Calling it now, the man to Duke’s left is gonna be his father, and the woman to his right is gonna be his mother. Also, I think the other adult who was actually colored in instead of shadowed in the background like everyone else was an important figure in Duke’s life. Like, maybe an uncle or something?

My Theory on Duke's Origins: Born 25th January 1897, a boy is born to Duke Waldemar Rammstein by his one-time mistress. (I am Rammstein!) His mother however dies before he turns three and he is forced to live under his abusive father. (Born Bad) The Duke was already married to the Duchess Camilla, and with her had three daughters; Belle, Marie, and Antoinette, so he lived under their abuse. (Almost Human) Then, one night many years later, a vampire visits him in his room and offers to make him a vampire. (The Chosen) After undergoing his transformation, he takes his revenge on them all (The Headless Waltz) Having killed his entire family, he takes up the name Duke instead of as a personal title since as an immortal he never foresaw it passing to anyone else. (Raised by Bats) Of course this is widely speculative, and even the names are just off the top of my head, but I have a feeling at least a couple of these (except Born Bad since it is literally this song here) are going to make it into the next season.
