I checked out Lana Del Rey to see what the whole hype around her was about... She's nothing special, another Mainstream "indie" barbie-esque pop doll. Too forced, too artificial. She's got a decent voice, but I certainly don't think that', being uniquely talented. Her sound is not unique. it's meant for the masses, just another product of the hype machine.

i agree with tim. she can sing but she doesnt sound unique at all.... sounds like any indie female artist to me. its so annoying when music is promoted and marketed falsely.
