Loved this reaction! Loved that you enjoyed really listening to Lana for the first time. You probably didn’t listen to her back then because she was kinda low-key almost underground in a way. She had a couple of singles that were mainstream, but most of her music is radio friendly. But even still she really is the blueprint for all the pop girlies nowadays. You wouldn’t have Billie Eilish, Halsey or even Lorde without Lana doing away from the radio first! Hopefully if you react to her other albums (in order it’s important! lol) she’ll make you start to like chill songs because she has A LOT of them 👀 Fair warning but that are beautifully written and sound gorgeous and her voice makes you fall in love with her it’s great! P.S You’re cute, your southern accent and that smile are adorable 😉

Fun facts : - Carmen is about alcohol , inspired by Lana’s personal experience - Off to the races is inspired by the book Lolita which is about a love story between a very young girl and a man - Dark Paradise talks about suicide , If I remember a friend of Lana committed… - For National Anthem you have to watch the music video to understand , it’s about JFK , his wife and his mistress : his wife is painted as a simple girl who likes to stay in the house « He says to be cool but I don’t know how yet » « I said : can we party later on ? » , while his mistress is a party and wild woman « I’m already the coolest » « Hum , do you think you’ll buy me a lor of diamonds » . All of these show that Lana del rey is one of the best at songwritting , you’ll see that all of her albums are absolutely well written :)

I just found your channel amazing reaction. I will say for Born to Die The original version of the song is my favorite. You could probably find it on youtube but Lana says F me hard in the pouring rain instead of kiss me hard in the pouring rain. Personally, I just prefer that better love explicit lyrics for no reason definitely subscribing keep up the good work 😻
