The internet has gone to heck. I have the challenger edition only no previous version. Can I unlock cosmetics for the valorplates? It does not keep track of my progress if so.

Yeah no I recommend doing the low level dreamstone first it's easier and you get some skill level while learning how to play the game at your own pace. Doing the trail first was horrible you get overwhelmed real quick, I believe I spent most the the time just laying in the ground before losing all my life. Oh the pain

So...still confused it appears. I get why one would do each of the individual modes from a loot perspective. But I'm wondering from a pure gameplay perspective which is the best/most fun? Is each mode just a samey arena or do any of them have a bit more flow and exploration to them? And the Trials cost valor coins but what about entry for the other 2 modes, how is their entry gated off? Is matchmaking purely for the Trials or can one also do the other modes in multiplayer?

I would say the most fun in my opinion are the dreamstone hunts, the more grindy is the tower of trials and the most exploration based is lightbringer. There are no entry costs for other modes besides the tower of trials and the ascended variant. Matchmaking is only available for lightbringer and the ascended tower of trials. I hope this helped 👍

I fired it up the other day and slogged through that long dreary tutorial. Finally got to the end and got my Valor plate. Changed out all my equipment and looked at the augments. I kind of wanted to study the augments a bit so backed out. Now I can't seem to get back in! I am standing in that Valor plate room with the thing saying "Apply augments" (or something). But I can find NO way to get back into that! Touchpad does nothing, Options goes to the standard game-related stuff (controls, video, etc). And there is NO control prompt to re-open that window. (Like when you first get there it shows "O" to open - that is no longer there) [PS5 btw]. Anyone have any ideas how to get back into that?

I'm pretty sure you can go back into augments in your gear by using 'i'

I can't speak for him obviously, but I struggled heavily with that in the tutorial. I'd hold down the button but I didn't notice it doing anything, then pressed the other. I eventually got the objective completed (do 3 I think) but I can't say I knew what I was doing at all. Any tips on that? Thx!

Every light type attack will build that white hp up, once white hp fill up the whole bar, any heavy type attack will 1 hit kill the enemy. Thats soulshatter.

@@Darealpokgai OH! The tutorial made it sound like a separate move (or more specifically, that's the way I read it hehe). "Hold the R1 to build, then Press R2 to release." So it just happens 'naturally' until you release it with a Heavy. Thanks!

u dont need to hold r1, just any r1 type attack will build it up, that includes, regular r1 attack, northern techique, r1 timing attack, etc. And then any R2 type attack can trigger soulshatter, includes regular r2, charge r2, southern techique, r2 timing attack and Polarized attack too.
