My favorite part is how authentic and relatable you guy's content is. I've never seen an Elk, they don't even exist where I live. But when I watch your videos I feel like I'm in camp with you all and part of the adventure. This one is for Trent, also Kody might know. My father and his hunting partner M.L. Simmons were stump builders. They are both up in the great Elk woods for the rest of time. God rest their soul. Yep I knew both of those men. Great guys. Mike books was a fixture at Waldrons when I worked there. I really enjoyed listening to Mike tell a story or hear him about the challenges he made himself to become a better elk hunter. It was a sad day when I heard the news about his bicycle accident. I loved the part in the book when they killed a bull and did the “Showing” pose with the backstrap. -Kody

I haven't been able to elk hunt in over 20 years. I love watching ya'll. I used to elk hunt with my dad in Colorado as a kid. He passed away earlier this year and this brings back many great memories. I'm hoping to get back into elk hunting next season maybe I'll even get my first bull ever with a bow. Questions and comments: I always love watching y'all praying, bugling & hunting together as a well oiled team, when the bulls are down all the smiles, laughter and hugs are shared as a team, then y'all section out the body parts together, you teach the younger generation of your large combined family together. have you ever done any videos of you when you butcher the meat, do y'all get together for all that to? You guys are killin it. I like the format. Especially like the fact you involving the kiddos and young guys. My son 10 and daughter 13 got to experience the ups and downs of bow hunting this year. Called in a bull with both of them with me. Came in frontal and unfortunately I hit him and we never found him. Was definitely a bummer but they got to see hard bow hunting really is. Once again you “leave elk, to go find elk” … actually to find the one with the giant rack that has caused you to salivate & loose all reason and forget about the elk that kept you up at night near your tent😘 Oh well, gotta go with what moves you. We also hunted public land in eastern Oregon this past season and also experienced that the elk were more vocal in the morning and then went quiet for most the rest of the day. I do have a question about calling. In your two previous videos in the premium unit, you used bugles to locate and then got closer and used cow calls to entice the bull into range. But in this unit, you primarily bugled….? Not 100% but quite a bit more than previously. I know that you try to adapt to what seems to be working, but I’m curious to know why your u didn’t repeat the tactics that brought you success just the week before?

Enjoying the content guys. I have to admit that I do prefer the format with a couple of videos a week vs a video every day for L.O.F. Beforehand, It seems like I would get behind a couple of days worth of videos. Then all of a sudden, I would have about two or three hours of content to watch just to catch up. The way you all are producing the videos gives me a few grace days to watch and I can stay caught up with what you are sending out each week. We don't have elk here in the UK so all of this bugling and chuclking is very interesting. But how do you tell that you're onto a real elk and not some Doug Flutey who's doing the same thing as you? If your aim is to be realistic as possible, do you ever get duped?
