Borovets Skiing Vlog 2023 | what to do without any snow this year!

Can't believe after 11 years of skiing in Borovets in Bulgaria there wasn't enough snow this year to properly do it! We decided to find loads of other things to do, so if you're heading out skiing this year with no snow, hopefully this can give you some inspiration on what else the country has to offer!

Top tip . Split your clothes if you are a couple .That way you have something to wear. Travel in walking trousers they double as temporary ski trousers. Good video folks..thanks!

We are going to Borovets for the first time on Friday from Spain. We are not skiing so it was really good to know what is there for us. Hoping there will be snow for the kids and grandkids. Thanks for the insights x

It's a very different culture to what we are used to at home which is refreshing. The people are all so lovely. Skiing is so fun, would definitely recommend and Borovets is perfect for beginners xx

Came out to Bansko on the 1st of January , was planning to go the Borovets also but decided against it. Although luckily, I had the car so was able to go all the way to Pamporovo which had I few runs open so all was not lost.

Bulgaria have the biggest amount of termal springs in europe second only to iceland and the highest is here 18 meters

Just a remark All that I don't like in Bansko (and elsewhere) is this fashion of going to smash nature with the pollution, the noise, and to dig the path... with the 4X, quads and enduro motorcycles with that nature does not need that (it is beautiful on its own) When there will be electric vehicles it may be a little better for your health (although with Bansko fireplaces it is sometimes unbreathable in certain places. .
