I must say this movie is deep, I remember reading a story on Wattpad like this. Moving on from a loved one is hard, but seeing the person you’re moving on from because they were presumed dead alive, hurts. It’s like you’re being tugged from both end with no definite choice. Back to the movie I love the mother in law, the throwbacks to why Elena couldn’t move on, the falling in love with Godswill and finally Deyemi’s sacrifice. It made me feel like a true life story was happening with me at one corner hiding and watching 😂, the kind of thrilling feeling I get from my Wattpad stories. Good job to everyone that contributed to the success of this production, it was top notch.

I cried for the character Sam Maurice played. As the child of an Army officer I can relate to that feeling, days where we waited for his return,the joy we felt when his car pulled up the drive way, the tears we shed when saying our goodbyes...and the circle continued until...one day his car pulls up but this time accompanied by a military truck, uniformed men offloading his belongings, their facial expressions blank, but we could see through their souls...they lost a comrade and we lost a father and husband. Then came the gun shots in the air; the salutes, the handing over of his sword...and then all was silent, and it's been silent for years now yet I miss him so dearly.

Finally sat to watch this film. The way I screamed when Deyemi walked through the door 🤯🤯🤯🤯. I never hessperedit. This film threeeeew me. What a great story line & twist 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾. Kudos to the writers for this. The mums character was exceptional in the love, compassion & understanding. Wouldn't it be amazing if more mothers were this wise & understanding?! It's disappointing that men won't date women who are widowed, divorced etc, but women are expected to marry men who are divorced or widowed. Is that fair? Nigerian societal mentality has a lot to change in its hipocracy towards women. Life happens. Looking down on another because of their circumstances is an injustice to the compassion, love & understanding we need to have towards each other. All in all, a great movie & so many lessons to be learnt from this movie. Well done to all involved in the writing & acting.👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾💫

He got married and left wife behind for duty, the few days he stayed the wife got pregnant after three years he finally decided to come back home to his child and wife after his last mission. Sometimes last year ,The last day on duty at the border, we saw on news that there was an exchange fire at the border some were injured including a police man . I finally got a chance to watch this masterpiece from Uchenna Mbunabo production. What a storyline. Yes.. the title of the movie might give hits to the story, but I was NOT EXPECTING THE TWIST AND TURNS this script took. KREATOR's PEN....The mastermind of another brilliant script. The performance delivery by the cast was exceptional. The casting done for this one was nail on. The theme is a very heavy one and yet the dialogue, the acting, the non verbal cues, tense emotions, the transitions between scenes, etc. was so beautiful to watch. I sincerely tell you, the movies on here are far better that the ones on my streaming apps. Back to the story. Who else cried when Elena flashed back to the memories she had with Deyemi? Or the love the mother-in-law poured into her as she could no longer bear the pain and lost of her husband? Okay, no more spoilers...please, share, watch and and re-watch this masterpiece... It is THAT GOOD !!! Favorite quotes 1) There is no point crawling into a tunnel that is dark knowing there will be no light at the end. 2) I am not just used to having a man resurrect back into my life. One thing is for sure, the scores/soundtracks from this production house are top notch. Thank you once again to the team of Michelle Chinonso and Samuel Tochux for their musical composition on this masterpiece. All i do was to cry while on the movie,it reminds me of my life experience when i lost my elder sister who is my look alike,the experience was heart wrecking, life wasn't easy.God knows everything, may he give strength to all who has lost a love one and is going through emotional pain.

This is a wonderful movie of true love between Elina and Maurice for a long time. If his mom didn't push her to start a new life she wouldn't have. The affection for the driver developed and she found love again. Even after Maurice returned, she still had love in her heart for her first love. The ending is bitter- sweet. Sometimes it's better for people to step back and not push. Just let life happen on its on. Watching from USA and will watch and recommend this movie.

The mother in law's interference caused so much pain and confusion. She thought she was doing good but she only caused pain. To be quite honest in real life the wife would've gone back to her first husband, you don't get over your first true love that quickly, no matter what.

@@VictoriaKomolafe-y8u I got that she wanted the best , but it wasn't even a full 2 years. The MIL should've left her to grieve at her own pace she was wrong for forcing her. In real life women take a longer time to grieve , when my cousin lost her husband it took her years to find someone else . She wasn't crying her eyes out everyday but she never dated until she felt she was ready, her late husband was the best man she ever met. She was over him but she took her time before she began dating, it shouldn't be rushed and that's my point. Now when it comes to love ,true love , it takes years to get over your first true love and that's the truth. Sometimes you wish you could see them again, it takes a while to get over them, but almost 2 years na. I was in love with a guy for a long time, the only thing intimate we did was kiss, love from school days until adulthood, I knew I was in love. I waited for him for years to get himself together, men came seeking me out I wasn't interested, I only wanted him. I remember when he told me that he doesn't want to hurt me and that he cannot promise to be faithful to only me , he claimed we were young and should explore. I remember I said I would wait for him no matter what, then after almost 10 years I met my now husband. We began dating but my heart was still with this first true love, I know I was a fool in love but the heart wants what the heart wants. My husband was so much in love with me that in less than a year he proposed but I used the excuse of not being ready and being scared. He understood, he loved me and was very patient with me, as the years went by I realized that this man was such a good man and I fell deeply in love with him, it took me almost 5 years to come to that realization. Now today after almost 16 years of togetherness nobody else can come in between this love, if he dies now I don't know what I'll do and if I die now I don't know what he'll do. So you see I took my own time to get over this guy and get him out of my system completely and now look at me , after all those years later I'm satisfied . I know you might say it cannot be compared because what happened in the movie was one partner died but please understand the angle I'm coming from.

If you want to shed real tears and have your heart crack into a million pieces, this film will supply your needs. I started watching it when I woke this morning and cried until I had to leave for work. Now that I've returned and finished watching it, I'm numb with grief and perplexed at the way of life. The old friend/girlfriend is not nearly as pretty or any substitute for Miwa. And who could stand to see Chike broken-hearted? But a broken-hearted Deyemi is devastating. I can't say more without giving away to much of the plot and I don't want to lessen the impact of this drama for any viewer. Uchenna, you are the casting master. Everybody did a masterful job.I will say that if only she had trusted the ancestral ways and gone for divination, the ensuing drama that happened would not have.

It has been a long time since a movie surprised me. I was sitting here wondering why so much time was left when Maurice Sam stepped back from the dead. Wow. Wonderful. I loved it. Maurice is an awesome actor, but Chike Daniels's expressions are out of this world, natural, and cute. I fell in love with his acting style many years ago, so seeing you together is fantastic. Thank you for the surprise ending. The mother and wife are also great, and I love the nonchalant way the other female friend carried herself. Loved it! Way to go, guys. Kudo!
