Boruto is already this tbh. Uzumaki and Hyuga lineage, which if we’re being honest amounts to kaguyas chakra and DNA. I like the vision idea, and it could work like he had a byakugan all the time and could turn on or off the sharingan overtop of their normal byakugan. That way it's like how Uchiha eyes are normal and then they show their tomoe sometimes, but instead of normal eyes the normal eyes are byakugan. So normal day to day is Hyuga, then in fights is a combo of both.

Like it could be a Byakugan with tomoe, probably evolve differently to either dojutsu but would have such a strong starting point if it had the strengths of the two sources but probably a lot more chakra depleting; if it could evolve it would probably involve the zone of the user's awareness rather than a focal point.

One thing to take into consideration. Even tho, it was stated that the user would be born with 1 sharingan and one byakugan, it does not mean it cannot evolve. Uchiha powers were specifically said to manifest through their EYES. I think what ever happens in their brain, will still activate and manifest through their byakugan eyes. The same way that madara used susano without his eyes. While the eyes are important, it is not all.

The byakugan cannot host a sharingan or rinnegan, so that's why they only have one sharingan. Half Hyuga only have one byakugan, there would be zero sharingan if they had two byakugan. They are separate eyes, the byakugan isn't something that's awakened, the tenseigan is

I do think that the sharingan would eventually turn into a rinnegan. This is because of it having both Indra's and Ashura's chakra though in a very diluted way. The byakugan might even evolve into a tenseigan since the result of all those bloods together would practically mimic an Otsotsuki's. If that were to be the case then you would have a character with both a tenseigan and a rinnegan. On the flipside, if none of those happen, then it is possible that due to the mangekyo ability evolving into what represents you/what you need the most at the moment, that the mangekyo ability combines in some way with the byakugan, and is meant to be used alone. I find it very unlikely that the user would get kagutsuchi. For the eyes, it is once more possible that a Susanoo requires for a mangekyo and an awakened eye on the other side, it would explain the way that Sasuke and other people can make Susanoos despit not having two pure sharingan. Although that last point is an even bigger stretch than the first two, somehow.

Read a really good fanfic about the grandson of Indra (one of 20+) and how Indra lived among a fire jutsu clan called Uchiwa and made a dozen kids with a shit ton of grand kids within this clan. Anyway the main character was a grandson that was being forced to marry another Uchiwa but he fell in love with a Senju woman who had a weaker version of wood release even that of Yamato(most used to heal). but on his battles and journeys, he discovered that some people in his family had children with other clans including Hyuga and escaped to a faraway land. It was cool to see how the expressed that concept of double dojutsu powers etc.

The funny part is that this would likely only suck at first. Keep in mind, Boruto is basically 100% Otsosuki, meaning this hypothetical child would basically be born being similar to Hagoromo and Hamura. Its not out of the question for these eyes to evolve into a Rinnegan and Tenseigan respectively, giving them a Chakra Cloak like Naruto while having Sasuke's Rinnegan Prowess. The pure power level of hsving 2 of the eyes might not be there, but their baseline power level together with the shee versitility would be freightening lol

My assumption has always been a Uchiha-Hyuga child would have been targeted not only by people outside the village, but the village itself. Politicians like Danzo likely would have disliked it a lot. Powerful children have been shown to be kidnapped/killed etc before. Especially prior to the main events of Naruto, where there were a lot of wars between villages. Someone being born with powers from two of the strongest clans in would have scared a lot of people. So, my ‘debunking’ theory is: there have been children like that before, but they were targeted and killed. Or the elders from both clans disapproved of such things, either because of political pressure or just tradition.

I wondered what the child of Naruto and Sasuke could look like even before Boruto started. At the time of Naruto it was obvious that Hyugas came from Hamura, and Senju and Uchiha came from two sons of Hagoromo, and him and Hamura were also brothers and came from Kaguya. So genetic combinations between all 3 clans were technically possible. But, who did Uzumaki come from? My theory was that their barrier and sealing techniques are very close to the dimension of Shinigami and his soul reaping techniques, and the fact that he willingly returned some dead people, and dead tailed beasts back to life. So if the Uzumaki were not some distant relatives to Senju, but did they come from another Ootsutsuki - the Shinigami? Then, a child (or genetically constructed Shinobi) of the Uzumaki and the Uchiha could be impossible or inevitable... Or it could combine the chakra of Kaguya and Shinigami, two different God level Ootsutsuki. And that is a really potential combo...

Wouldn't Voruto have the ability to have the tenseigan in on of their eyes if they took the eye of a fellow hyuga clan member because they would be half Otsutsuki due to Boruto being 100% at this current time. And Voruto could just switch eyes with the Hyuga clan member because going back to Naruto the last Toneri had his eyes taken when he was a child, so when he took Hanabi's eyes they just filled where his eyes would have been, so in theory Voruto could just switch eyes with that Hyuga clan member. It would even make up for the power gap between the sharingan and the Byakugan. Just a thought, what if what you need for a Susanoo isn't really two MS, but all your original eye(s) as MS. I think this because all users who this rule has applied to are users who originally had two MS to begin with. "Voruto" could still theoretically have a Susanoo (though is is a stretch) by molding chakra into a giant humanoid construct. I think it is still possible with a byakugan and a sharingan because all MS wielders knew how to make a Susanoo without really being taught. It might be an innate knowledge thing that comes with the MS. So by having that knowledge, one could use a Susanoo all their original sharingan as MS and wielded by the same person.

Going off the genjutsu gentle fist idea, I think you could combine the Uchiha shuriken jutsu with gentle fist and throw senbon to shut down someone's tenketsu point at range... or put them in genjutsu

As someone with blue eyes I actually started chuckling at your example. Because blue eyes are recessive, you literally can't get blue eyes from one parent having the gene, the buff father in this case would've had to have had the recessive blue eye trait as well.

a long time ago in the early days of Narutoi when i used to do a Naruto RP i had a character that had a combo of the Sharingan and Byakugan, i called it the "Byashingan" "Bee-ya-shing-gan" is how i pronounced it your free to try that out it just sounded right to me, stil does lol, and the way mine worked was just a byakugan set of eyes that could transform the center into a dual Sharigan, so basically design wise it was was a dual sharigan overlayed ontop of the byakugan eyes, with the veins on the side when you activate them. i never made an MS or EMS transformation, but yea basic skills of 3 tomoe sharigan and byakugan all in 1 set of 2 eyes. i havent thought about this in like 10 years, thanks for the trip down memory lane & great video

Rather than Voruto, I always kind of thought their child would be named Saruto because it makes more sense?? Idk, but in my opinion it's better than Voruto (which translated to any of the languages I'm sure will sound similar to Boruto). Also because Saruto makes sense for a few reasons: 1) It will "honour" Naruto, just by changing the first letter, but also 2) It will "honour" both Sasuke, Sakura AND Sarada, because of the first two letters, S and A. (Sarada in itself is technically a name honouring both Sasuke and Sakura because "SA" in Sasuke (and Sakura) and "RA" in "Sakura" but idk could just be me lmao) 3)"Sa" for Uchiha clan (Boruto era), "Ru" for both Naruto and Boruto, and "to" because, well, idk, Japanese names end like that. I had a whole story behind the name but I forgot it, I just wanted to say that it makes more sense to me for the child to be named Saruto rather than Voruto because Voruto sounds VERY similar to Boruto, which I'm sure many will confuse. But also, in the naming sense it also makes more sense (because Hinata and Naruto had Himawari and Boruto, and SasuSaku had Sarada, it makes sense that it's either Saruto (Uzumaki? Uchiha? idk), or Haruto (or Hiruto, whatever you like more) because of Hinata.) But also idk I kind of always thought that Boruto would end up with Sumire just because the two of them give me NaruHina vibes, but we'll see, the future is yet to come haha.

Off topic but I have another theory you might be interested in. Kawaki is the next major character to turn into a tree but it ends up being a divine tree. It only makes since because it'll open up an entire arc revealing otsutsuki Gods. Boruto's power up didn't outpace code for no reason. It's needed for the new claw Grimes and new divine tree disaster. Boruto eats the fruit, reverses the shinjutsu that swapped him and kawaki, and he begins to fight the otsutsuki Gods whose emblems were destroyed in the ten tails dimension.

For the people born with sharingan, like the hypothetical child of Boruto and sarada, they can disable their sharingan, meaning that possibly that their disabled sharingan can be a Byakugan rather than a normal eye, and they can activate that Byakugan as long as the sharingan is deactivated

Perhaps the mix of the Byakugan and Sharingan would be called a Shigan or Shiringan (Purple Eye/Purple-Wheel-eye) since i'd imagine to color of white and red would make a brighter red and pinkugan sounds silly, so purple(shi) it is, Since the sharingan is called the Copy-Wheel-eye (Sha-rin-gan) This would make sense, alternatively if it would stay white but get the sharigan tome i would probably call it the Byakuringan

What if Voruto because of his/her ancestry gets one of those palm/forehead eyes? Imagine the golden rinnegan/rinnesharingan/9-tomoe-rinnegan in your forehead and arms (similar to fused momoshiki) and tenseigan-jougan combo as main eyes... All the rinnegan abilities + jougan and tenseigan abilities, + potentially DMS/EMS abilities?? And throw in some 8-gates and seal of a 100 healings which can be learned by anyone with extremely good chakra control, and oh my God add some otsutsuki/10-tails level chakra reserves aaaand we have one of those theoretical max stats chars... damn, so close to perfection but too op for an interesting show.
